Parental Notification Laws regarding Gay & Lesbian Programs for Youths?

I know that there a Parental Notification laws that vary from state to state regarding a minor having an abortion. My question is, are there any that would require an organization that is offering programs for minors that concern their sexuality to notify the parent(s) first? I would personally throttle any person or organization that attempted to indoctrinate my kids into a Gay or Lesbian lifestyle. Are there any organizations out there that are trying to get laws passed that hold these people accountable for the harm they are causing the youth?

- ANYONE?

Information About Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, Transgendered and Questioning Youth

An increasing number of gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender and questioning (GLBTQ) young people experience alienation by peers, rejection from family and friends, and derision by society at large. Home and school often lack the necessary resources to help GLBTQ youth with the fear and isolation they often face. Without support from their peers or allies, many are likely to find themselves confronted with HIV disease, depression, drug and alcohol abuse, homelessness, and suicide.

Yet, thousands of young people every year are coming out and developing pride in their identity. Having found new communities and direction, many are ready to reach out to their peers through support activities and community organizing. This has resulted in a growing national movement of GLBTQ young people speaking out about their experiences and demanding respect, rights, services and a voice in their schools and their communities. It has also resulted in a greater need for skills-building training and peer support.

The explosion of GLBTQ youth activism has created a great need for resources and institutional support. Youth activists are challenging adults to respond to their needs and concerns. They are asking for the tools required for them to develop as leaders and to be able to share organizing skills and issue-based knowledge with their peers. GLBTQ youth are building a movement - and they are asking NGLTF to help them to achieve their goals. NGLTF operates four programs to nurture and support youth activism:

NGLTF views this work as a critical component to realizing its mission of advancing equality and civil rights of GLBT persons and raising public awareness about issues that affect GLBT communities. NGLTF recognizes the necessity to provide institutional support to young people, and is committed to supporting the needs of GLBTQ youth and youth activists.

ARE THESE ACTIVITIES GOING ON TOTALLY UNCHECKED?????

    We're talking about under-age minors.

Outstanding rebuttal. Now would you like to actually respond to my point? If the problem is public behavior, why support laws restricting private behavior?

And I agree with you regarding children. I was specifically referring to Khepera's statement that existing sodomy laws, which apply to private behavior between adults, should be enforced.

Because this activity, private or not, is bad for society as a whole. It needs to be suppressed.

Thanks for clarifying. Now how are we going to stop this from happening to children without parental notification?

In Texas, yes. You can file a paper with the school that prohibits them from 'teaching' certain subjects to your child.

I don't think homosexuality is acquired by recruitment.

Maybe, maybe not. It is sure that presenting it as a normal healthy alternative to heterosexuality is very destructive to young persons. Without wisdom to rely on for these life shaping decisions, they are destroyed before they wise up. This is the gay agenda.

Funny, the homosexual man on the flight that was brought down in PA is celebrated as a hero even though there is no evidence that he did anything but die.

Jihad Johnny's dad is not, and he seems to have done much for his son. I wonder why he isn't this weeks "Rainbow Poster Boy"??

I'm not talking about this activity going on in the Public School System, I'm talking about it going on everywhere without any parental notification.

    Cite please.

No, it's all over the Web. Most people who suffer from SAD were molested by young children. Most had had a homosexual advance from an older person while in adolescence. etc.

More interestingly, the SAD people even used to chant "Recruit, recruit, recruit" at their parades until they began their stealth campaign.

    Shalom.

WOW! You used SAD to describe a homosexual! I was just discussing this with a friend saying I wonder why they are called GAYs when their life is filled with disease, filth, and sadness? SAD would be a much better describtion of their lifestyle. I hope more decent Americans start calling them SADs, for they really are sad.

French teacher that was gay. Before the parents showed up for parent-teacher conf, the guy changed into normal clothes from a frilly pink-satin getup.

When I was in high school I had a history teacher whom I suspected was homosexual...but he didn't wear a "frilly pink-satin getup". His dress was pretty much on par with the rest of the faculty, as were his mannerisms and behaviour. His classes were also very good, he was an effective and knowledgable teacher.

Gee, I guess he couldn't have been homosexual. He never acted bizarrely, wore drag and there were no rumours whatsoever about him making sexual advances toward male students -- everyone knows that all homosexuals do those things.

Yes, but in the case of my history teacher, he didn't have to change clothes before meeting any parents. There weren't scandalous stories of any kind running around about him.

I wish I could take credit for Same-sex Attraction Disorder (SAD) but I read it here on FR. I also wish I could attribute it properly, but I can't remember where I first read it.

I guess that means you can use it.

    Shalom.
