What is so bad about the matter, they don't even know they are sick. And it is people like this who think they can raise kids.

I think there is something that is missing in the makeup of men who do this sort of thing. I have no understanding of such a man's thought processes. It is the norm for a man to be protective of his wife. There are many swappers, but they are degenerates who do not love like other men. There is just something that should be there that isn't.

At the very least they could have done their "swinging" somewhere else while a trusted baby sitter or family member was watching the kids.

Otherwise, you may be right about pedophiles and swinging. I know nothing about swinging though I do know plenty of people who cheat on their spouses and then the spouse stays with them, or women who know their husbands have a mistress but stay anyways. This is far different from pedophiles.

There are some local talk radio hosts who have VERY strong credibility in the community. If they say that cops on the case are leaking to them, I believe it. Most of the leaks and rumors which were "wild speculation" last week are accepted fact today. Today's "wild speculation" based on leaks from cops on the case to the talk hosts will probably be proven in the coming days.

One would suspect as much.........probably more a case of one spouse wanting to have affairs, and encouraging the other to do the same to justify it in their own minds.

True, but the girl was not harmed BECAUSE the "parents" were swingers. Danielle was abducted because the parents were too wrapped up in their own lives to even worry about the effects of being INATTENTIVE to their children.

It would have been easy to find someone to take care of the kids for a weekend so that Brenda and Damon could go off and do their thing, but they apparently didn't see anything wrong with having a bunch of seedy people over at their house while their children were asleep. So little was the perceived threat that NOT ONCE did they check on their children the whole night. Maybe there really are "responsible swingers" in this world who are able to do their thing while adequately keeping their children out of danger. The VD's are anything but.

So I hope Mr and Mrs Van Dam pay the price for what they allowed to happen, while I still hold out hope that little Danielle will be found alive and placed with someone who actually cares about raising children.
