It's going to get worse for them. Now the criminal trial(s) will begin. I think March 7th is the date. There was some talk of a plea bargain last month pending the resolution of the custody case. So maybe they will plead out and get it over with. Wonder what happened to all their friends in Oregon?

Too bad these two had to hook up with the anti-government bunch from Southern Oregon. This would have never gone this far if the couple would have gotten good advice from the start. Sounds like their new attorney is a step in the right direction.

It is a blessing for their children who otherwise could have lost their lives or been even more seriously damaged by their parents than they were.

Thank God the authorities acted with common sense rather than take the advice of the ideological fanatics around here who defended these child torturing nutballs.

Some of their friends were active on the FR until they were banned. The logic they used (friends) make it understandable how these two got into so much trouble.

Thanks for the update. No surprise that the Christines were abandoned by their so-called friends in Oregon once they got the maximum publicity out of them. I had gotten into it with some of the now-banned freepers about them, and that these friends were not working for the best interests of the Christines and their children.

Let's home these children (NOT the Christines, described as "kids" by their lawyer--they were the parents of five children and that sure takes them out of kid-dom in my book) can have a good and safe life with their grandparents. They deserve it. As for the parents, I do expect a plea bargain--and will be given a sentence far too lenient for what they've done.
