No surprise that the Christines were abandoned by their so-called friends in Oregon once they got the maximum publicity out of them.

Haven't heard a peep from any of them in the local (Oregon) publications. It seems to me that Michael Sieradzki and that bunch of so called supporters have done a great disservice to the family. Bernie Conrad had it right!

The Christines' relinquishing their parental rights may be a preemptive strike at damage control. The criminal case is scheduled and a pleading is in the works, look for substantiation of all the charges against Brian as discussed on FR. Sentencing will take into account his willful termination of parental rights. Ruth will probably just be deported.

Speaking of Oregon, there is a story that irnnews.com says they are going to release soon about a scam taking place with some state DSS (they didn't say which) in getting girls sent to foster care homes that are run by lesbians "looking for young meat". Naah! Not in America in 2002!
