Hi.

John has developed some new forum software, and Jim has configured it to allow us to divide things up into a few forums.

The idea is to keep the news/activism forum to be for published articles, threads about activism activities, and well-researched vanities. Other types of things, such as captions this photo threads and the like, should be posted to the "general" forum. The idea is to keep the news/activism forum a bit more serious, and have the fun stuff over in the general forum.

In the future, please post threads like this one over there. Thanks.

Oh yes I did....quite an experience. After losing, the GOP asked me if I wanted to work the legislative session (Jan thru April)....I did. Another experience all unto itself.

I was the Senate Journals Clerk....got to sit on the rostrum each day right next to the podium the Secretary of the Senate or reader used. I was privy to meet all the special guests who addressed the Senate.

Running for office was probably one of the highlights of my life--an education one never forgets. :)

Whoa there, Lynn.....politicans will lie to their own mother if it means winning! Dear, you really do give politicians way too much credit.....it isn't as though GHWB wasn't a seasoned veteran--for crying out loud for a New Englander to not know how the Democraps are! LOL.

I daresay if you go back and actually read very carefully what the President said/wrote/was ascribed to him, you may actually come away with a different view of what he actually said about CFR. I haven't bothered because I figured we'd get screwed again regardless of what the Republican said....of course, the screwing we'd have had under a Democrap could have been worse....I say 'could' because the GOP controlled House and Senate were bound and determined to outspend the Perverted President! I don't know if they would have been that generous in dealing with AlBore.

Val you and I are always pretty much on the same page. I know that lots and lots of people have extremely tough situations in life but not all of them have the same strength or are made of the same metal. You and I and many others obtain our strength from above. However, I have compassion on those who are basically possessed. This is not way excuses what happened to the innocent children. That was innocent blood that was shed. The MAIN perpetrator here is MR. YATES. I don't feel she should ever walk the streets again but killing her won't accomplish any more than Not killing her. Im not happy about amnesty either,but it was an inevitability.Im not ready to condemn Bush for it either.I knew something like this would happen when I watched the first Bush-Fox speech last year.I think W understands the need to placate the pro illegal alien left from time to time. Most of us do not know what in the hell world you are talking about - all we know is that after every Fundraiser JohnRob starts jacking with the functionality of FR. Please explain what he is doing, why he's doing it, and how it will make FR a better, and easier site to use.

Some of gave money, some of us give every month to what we know and love - please tell us what the hell is going on and why? If JR is going to make this super-duper thingie - go ahead and make it, and then transfer us over. But don't do this pulling of the teeth transfer.
