QUOTE FROM BUKHARI, VOLUME 5, #369: Narrated Jabir Abdullah:
Allah's messenger said "Who is willing to kill Ka`b bin al-Ashraf who has hurt Allah and His apostle?" Thereupon Maslama got up saying, "O Allah's messenger! Would you like that I kill him?" The prophet said, "Yes". Maslama said, "Then allow me to say a (false) thing (i.e. to deceive Ka`b). The prophet said, "You may say it."
Volume 4, Book 52, Number 286: Narrated Salama bin Al-Akwa:
"An infidel spy came to the Prophet while he was on a journey. The spy sat with the companions of the Prophet and started talking and then went away. The Prophet said (to his companions), 'Chase and kill him.' So, I killed him." The Prophet then gave him the belongings of the killed spy (in addition to his share of the war booty).
Sunan Abu Dawud, Book 19, Number 2996: Narrated Muhayyisah:
The Apostle of Allah (peace_be_upon_him) said: If you gain a victory over the men of Jews, kill them. So Muhayyisah jumped over Shubaybah, a man of the Jewish merchants. He had close relations with them. He then killed him. At that time Huwayyisah (brother of Muhayyisah) had not embraced Islam. He was older than Muhayyisah. When he killed him, Huwayyisah beat him and said: O enemy of Allah, I swear by Allah, you have a good deal of fat in your belly from his property.
Hadith Malik 511:1588 The last statement that Muhammad made was: "O Lord, perish the Jews and Christians. They made churches of the graves of their prophets. There shall be no two faiths in Arabia."
Bukhari 5:59:362 The Prophet killed the men of the Jewish tribe Bani Quraiza (some 600 to 800 of them) and distributed their women, children and property among the Muslims All the other Jews of Medina were exiled.
Bukhari 5:59:365 The Prophet had the date-palms of the Jewish tribe of Bani-Al- Nadir burnt and cut down. "It was with Allahs permission" (Quran 59:5)
Bukhari 5:59:447 The Prophet said to Sa'd, :The Bani Quraiza have agreed to accept your verdict" Sad said, "Kill all their men and take their women and children as slaves" The Prophet replied, "You have judged according to God's Judgment"
Almost two centuries ago a group of disturbed men met in the small Pennsylvania State House. They gathered to decide on a course of action. Behind the locked and guarded doors they debated for hours whether or not to sign the Declaration which had been presented for their consideration. For hours the talk was treason and its price the headsman's axe, the gallows and noose. The talk went on and decision was not forthcoming.
Then, Jefferson writes, a voice was heard coming from the balcony:
They may stretch our necks on all the gibbets in the land. They may turn every tree into a gallows, every home into a grave, and yet the words of that parchment can never die. They may pour our blood on a thousand scaffolds and yet from every drop that dyes the axe a new champion of freedom will spring into birth. The words of this declaration will live long after our bones are dust.
To the mechanic in his workshop they will speak hope; to the slave in the mines, freedom; but to the coward rulers, these words will speak in tones of warning they cannot help but hear. Sign that parchment. Sign if the next moment the noose is around your neck. Sign if the next minute this hall rings with the clash of falling axes! Sign by all your hopes in life or death, not only for yourselves but for all ages, for that parchment will be the textbook of freedom the bible of the rights of man forever.
Were my soul trembling on the verge of eternity, my hand freezing in death, I would still implore you to remember this truth: God has given America to be free.
As he finished, the speaker sank back in his seat exhausted. Inspired by his eloquence the delegates rushed forward to sign the Declaration of Independence. When they turned to thank the speaker for his timely words he couldn't be found and to this day no one knows who he was or how he entered or left the guarded room.
Taken from a Ronald Reagan speech, it displays the way America is and Americans are: rather killed than not be free!
Got any evidence for that? Or are you just trying to smear the name of a great man?
Not true, the Moghul invaders stole it from the Hindus
And he was a great man. I probably think so more than YOU do, for I believe he was the fulfillment of several Bible prophecies, including the 1260 days from Islam's takeover in 638, until Herzl's visit to Eretz Yisrael after the First Zionist Congress in 1898.
The problem does not just exist in Israel or in the Middle East. Bringing the Jews here will not solve the problem. When you consider the birth rate of the Muslims and the birth rate of the Christians and Jews in the West, the Muslim population will become a majority at some time in this century, if the present rate of reproduction continues. If the Muslims start coming to the United States in any numbers they could, in time, outnumber Christians and Jews. I know it sounds preposterous, but it is possible.
What are we going to do to prevent a sufficient majority of Muslims in the United States to be able to start electing Muslim's to political positions of influence? Our Constitution protects us against the imposition of religion by the government, but I am concerned about the future of the United States and what a substantial population of Muslim fundamentalist extremists would do to this country.
"The Hindus had a better way. They had zero. They had everything. What, you say? Wasn't it the Arabs who first devised the concept of zero in their numerical system. No, but the Arabs were the culture which introduced the concept to the western world."
When I have more time I'll try to find out if they invented at least the portion of our numbering system that didn't include zero. It is the base 10 system and I need to find out who had it first or if different cultures used it simultaneously.
Still it appears the Arabs at least recognized a good thing when they saw it.
This is either an ignorant or intentionally deceptive assertion.
I suggest you read Let's Restore Medina to the Jews which quotes an academic text, and has links to other sites.
