I will support reparations if it is a free ticket back to where the ones who want reparations came from.

He is expected to formerly announce his candidacy for president this summer. Please. Oh Lord, please. I'm begging.
To: kattracks
Well, the "music" world is already cashing in on reparations..

This is the best thing that could ever happen for the GOP..it could be worth 10+ seats in the house, and one or two in the senate this fall....wait till the Dem candidates are asked their position on the reparations issue....the next time I get a call from a GOP fundraiser, I'm thinking of telling the person that I'm sending a donation to Sharpton's presidential campaign..it'd be a more effective use of my funds..

He predicted that the biggest opponents of corporate slave reparations will be "those that have to pay."DUH...........
Really profound to point that out, Al.
By the way, is 50% black qualified as an African-American? (such as Halle Barry) What about 30%? How about 10%? Is there a shade-of-skin-color-meter being developed so that if you LOOK black enough, you can claim you are African-American?
So much for a "color-blind" society.....
To: All
Questions
1. If Halle Berry is half white, will she only get half the money?
2. Because Halle Berry is a millionaire, will she get the money, after all there are more deserving former slaves descendants.
3. If a black company is shown to profit from slavery, will they have to pay?

Please, Al, please, go ahead and run, seek the Dim nomination, help throw your so-called party in total disarray.Looks like he's pickin' up the slack for Jesse Jackass, by extorting promises and entitlements from the Dumbocraps if he agrees to "withdraw" from "contention", and give His endorsement to their candidate........
To: OldSmaj
..and to think some make fun of the way Dubya speaks; Al will be the first presidential candidate to use the word "aks" instead of "ask"...not that the media will make fun of that, though......

Slavery never happened.Their freedom was bought and they were brought here at great expense, the land of hope. They never worked off the dept and therefore the REPARATIONS should be paid to the corporations.

Don't cloud the issue with reason, here. How dare you inject facts into the conversation!
The nerve...........

"...sending a donation to Sharpton's presidential campaign...." I'd believe anything you say, but not this. LOL at the wickedness, though... a great scare tactic to use on the RNC.

The only difference between Al Sharpton and a bucked of crap is the bucket. Why doesn't this guy go back to Africa since he hates America so much. Oh wait, he likes it here because he can get wealthy from dumb blacks who believe in him and whites who are suffering from guilt brought on by liberal public oppinion.

What a wonderful article..Al Sharpton..Dem nomination..reparations..sigh..I think if you listen closely you could hear John F. Kerry, Liebermann, Edwards and even Gore's blood pressure just pop sky high..what a great way to start the day

Go Al Go!!! He's got my vote in the primary! All Freepers should get out and support old Al this year, just like the Dems came out and supported McCain in 2000!

"Imagine this: Hillary for pres and Sharpton for VP."
If that ticket wins, I'll do what Baldwin (?) promised to do.
Of course, I'd work for their defeat in the next election as an ex-patriot.

My daddy, a life long Republican, always registered as a democrat. In the primaries he would vote for the candidate least likely to win.
In the election he always voted a straight Republican ticket.

If that ticket wins God help us. That would be the end of rational thought as we know it...
