I can appreciate what you are saying about the potential in Benjamin Netanyahu to be the kind of strong, charismatic leader that Israel needs right now to weather this storm into which they are struggling to survive. However, make no mistake about this...that Israel will NEVER know peace and security, they will never come as a nation again into the fullness of God's promise to their father Abraham until, as a nation, Israel repents for its rejection of Jesus as the Christ, and embraces Him as their Messiah. The Bible is clear in that their final and peaceful possession of the land is contingent upon their acceptance of the Messiah.

Like you, I too believe they (Israel) will call upon Him, as there will be no where else to turn.

The solution can be a lot more basic than waiting for the Israeli peoples to own-up to their short sightedness.
The solution's rapidly shaping up to a case of, "Praise the Lord, & pass the ammunition."
