Heres an idea, send Jeseeeee to the middle east to negotiate. While he is out of the country revoke his passport so he cant get back in.Then depose Arafat and put Jeseeeeee in his place.Let him shakedown the Saudis.Keep him confined to Gaza or Ramallah and slowly he'll fade away.

It just might work. People will do almost anything to get Jesse Jackson to leave them alone. All Jesse has to do is threaten to not leave until there's an agreement, but he'd better be careful; the agreement might be to just shoot Jesse and be done with him.

If you want to get the Jews and Palestinians to make peace, just send JJ over there to try to shake them both down. You know, the whole "common enemy" thing...

I say let's send over the good Rev. Jackson, and station him right on the border.

And furthermore...

The White House was urging him not to go and the Taliban said it had not asked him to... The minister and former presidential candidate said he received an invitation Wednesday from a Taliban spokesman and immediately notified Secretary of State Colin Powell and Condoleezza Rice, President Bush's national security adviser.

The Taliban ambassador to Pakistan was quoted as saying Thursday that Jackson had initiated the offer, not the militia.

Hey Jesse, this is not the Clinton WH anymore!

The big thing that drives me nuts about " The Rev" is the media just lets him get away with all the nonsense. This guy is so openly corupt yet he is never called on anything. Be that as it may, GWB should let him travel to the mideast. Now,about a return ticket," ah, Jessie, ah, we got some bad news"

Let me make sure I have this straight now: One of the recognized leaders of the most out of control and violent elements in American society is volunteering to go to the Mideast and help them control their violence. Well, that certainly makes sense.

Hassan Abdel Rahman, the Palestinian representative in Washington, said he had not heard about Jackson's overture,

Sounds like the Taliban Invitation Scandal that the press never followed up on. Why kill their angry-man, newspaper selling creation. Also shades of the bloody shirt. Jackson is a prima donna. His self-importance knows no bounds.

Taliban government denies inviting Jackson

As long as the bomb would go off before he entered Israeli territory, I would like Rev. Jackson to be a suicide bomber.

Dear G-d, isn't there enough trouble there without this evil man inserting himself.

OMG doesn't he have enough on his plate mediating between Karen and Mrs. Jackson. The man's a glutton for punishment.

Maybe he could happily go native while he is visiting with the Arabs. Just think of all the mediating he could do if he picked up a harem or two.

Ah, yes, the "Reverend" is about to interject himself into another conflict to further his racial shakedown racket.

This would, of course, entail hugging Arafat and feeling his pain.

Hasn't the Middle East suffered enough??
I give him 3 hours, tops, with the leaders. He'll have the whole Jewish delegation banging their heads against the Wailing Wall.

They can't control private citizens' travel but they can certainly "suggest" to the parties that any involvement in mediation efforts aside from that being offered by the Bush administration right now would not be appreciated, State Department sources said.

Wadda wuss! There IS a federal law against private citizens trying to negoiate diplomatic issues with foreign governments. This wuss works for the US State Dept,so he probably has this law tatooed backward in his chest so he can read it in a mirror. He's just afraid of standing up to JJ.

On a side note,JJ must really be getting desperate for attention to even suggest this. He knows they won't let him go on his own,but is hoping they will give him official diplomatic protection so he can go and get a lot of positive press. Without the diplomatic cover,he'd be killed and he knows it.
