I hope they put him out of his misery -- But I don't think it'll do any good. Arafat is just a mouthpiece, and a shakedown artist.

The only network covering this live right now that I can find is MSNBC. They are - or just were - showing a news conference including Sharon announcing that Arafat will be "isolated."
He won't elaborate on what "isolate" means.

CNN broke into a re-run of Larry King to carry the Israelie cabinet news conference. FOX was still carrying hours old reruns. Somebody needs to wake up Geraldo.Seems to me if Israel is basically going to war against the entire appraratus of Arafat that is kinda newsworthy?

Yeah even I'm watching the Sharon news conference, and this is usually by time to watch old reruns of "The Facts of Life."

The only network covering this live right now that I can find is MSNBC. They are - or just were - showing a news conference including Sharon announcing that Arafat will be "isolated." MSNBC is in a fierce competition to rival CNN as America's Al-Jazeera affiliate. Ashley Banfield's "reportage" this evening from Beirut was disgraceful. Not one second of video was devoted to footage of the Netanya massacre. Only the Arab "perspective" is entertained.
Meanwhile Rivera is working double time over at FOX to show that he hates Israel as much as Ashley, Amanpour, or Martin Fletcher. Tonight he compared Arafat to Menachem Begin as equivalents, and urged Sean Hannity to "give the man a chance to be a statesman". Despicable.

Fox is really laying down on this one.
MSNBC has a guy within earshot of the battle.

fox is one step away from the all night test pattern, running reruns of this evening's earlier shows. what are they doing???

I think the problem is there's no "pool" camera, and Fox is the odd man out. But even so, they are not reporting the live news in any form right now.
Right now I'm watching CNN because the interpreter has a clear voice than the one on MSNBC.

A top aide to the Palestinian president, who was inside, said the army smashed a hole in the wall of Arafat's office building and tore down a fence using armored bulldozers. Another Palestinian official said the building was on fire.I'll send a sympathy card when h@11 freezes over.

How appropriate that Armageddon should be kicked off on Good Friday.
US Cities and others composed mainly of "infidels" should be on high alert for who knows what. I'm glad my daughter is getting out of DC for the weekend.

Arafat is finally going to either be killed outright tonight or effectively be put in such a humiliating position by the IDF that he will become irrelevant.
That ugly SOB is no different than Saddam or Osama.
Arafat must die, theres really no good reason to keep him around anymore.
