FREEPER EXCLUSIVE INTERVIEW: David Schippers Says "Clinton Is Delusional"
DFU interview with David Schippers ^ | 4-02-02 | Doug from Upland

Posted on 04/02/2002 10:03:25 AM PST by doug from upland

This morning I had the great pleasure to have another conversation with David Schippers, one of the few former Democrats who has been able to see the truth about what happened to his former party and the damage Bill Clinton has done to this nation.

It began yesterday with a phone call to Schippers' office to see if he would comment on the Jonathon Alter kneepad interview with Clinton.

Schippers returned my call this morning and told me that he did not see the interview in NEWSWEEK because he would not buy that &^%$#*&^%$. I complied with his request to fax it to him.

Well, the impeachment prosecutor needed his medication because his blood pressure almost went through the roof after reading the interview.

"What!" yelled Schippers. "The worst thing that happened to him was that his dog died?"

"Not that our country was attacked? Not that the buildings were knocked down? Not that terrorists are running loose in our country? Not that there were dead bodies laying all over the streets of New York City?"

Schippers was really incensed over Clinton continuing to blame his problems on the supposed conspiracy of the right wing. "This can't be for real. This man is delusional," he said. "This SOB will never be remorseful and still refuses to admit what he did."

Despite Clinton's claim that the Justice Department did not object to a pardon for Marc Rich, Schippers says that such nonsense contradicts the facts. Many decent people within the Justice Department really wanted to nail Rich, not pardon him. "That Justice was no longer interested in Rich," said Schippers, "was pure B.S." Rudy Giuliani was absolutely screaming about Rich.

Clinton's psychological problem was evident when he talked about September 11 in terms of the "politics of personal destruction." According to Schippers, "Clinton believes that the whole world revolves around the feelings of William Jefferson Clinton."

We talked about politics in general and the Democratic Party in particular. He was sad to admit that the party he supported during most of his lifetime cares about one thing only --- retaining power. Their issues involve scaring people. That's all they can do. Scare people. Schippers talked about a 1998 recording of Hillary Clinton in which she tried to get out the vote by telling her minions that she had inside information about the Republicans plan to "close down all of welfare."

There is a difference in the parties that is paramount. The Democrats have no sense of shame. Schippers commented on the role of the media in the shameless activities of the Democrats. "The media is the bad guy," he said.

Regarding the illegal activities in pushing alien criminals to become citizens in 1996, Schippers really wanted to go after that case. They were ready to take the next step and was told that he had the support of the FBI. He believed that U.S. Attorneys were going to file criminal charges against those involved. But it was all suddenly shut down.

We talked about the comparison of 1930's Germany and 1990's United States of America. I told him how I had a discussion with Jerome Zeifmann (although neither of us remembered his name during our conversation -- sorry Mr. Zeifmann) in which I explained that it was before my time and I really never understood how a nation could have come to believe and accept that black was white and wrong was right. I didn't understand, that is, until I lived through the 1990s. Just as did Zeifmann, Schippers agreed with the comparison.

On the Borking of Judge Pickering, Schippers was very unhappy with President Bush for not using his bullypulpit. "Pickering is a decent man," said Schippers. "He was unanimously confirmed last time. The local NAACP supported him. Bush should have been out there in front for him long before the committee fiasco."

FReepers in Illinois, Schippers is going to actively campaign for Republican Jim Durkin in his battle for the Senate seat currently held by Dick Durbin. He hopes you will get out and support Durkin. As a Catholic, he is disappointed and angry with Durbin's position, as a Catholic, to support partial birth abortion.

On Jesse Jackson, Schippers thinks the shakedown artist is in real trouble. He noted how Jackson had done well in a few primaries when he ran for president, but he was "whomped" back at home in Chicago. According the the late journalist, Mike Royko, the reason Jesse had such trouble in his home state was because "We know him."

Schippers has agreed to be my guest for the next DFU Radio Hour on Radio FreeRepublic. I hope you will have some good questions I can relay to him.

How about a comparison of the 1990's US and Britain in the 1920's?

Yeah Doug, ask him if he would consider writing a book about his work on the Clinton impeachment and include any evidence we might not be aware of that is not under seal. I would still love to know what exactly was in the Ford Office Building that many saw and were appalled by, but that is all under seal. Maybe Shippers can work to get that stuff unsealed so that "we the people" can parouse it for ourselves and come to our own conclusions on whether this was really just about "sex" as clinton has always claimed.

Good article. Both the Clintons are delusional. I have been saying that for years. It's a matter of delusion of superiorit that secondarily underwrites a feeling of special entilement and right to manipulate or exploit others without conscience. That's just for starters. There's a type of serious narcissism and psychopathic devience involved here.

"What!" yelled Schippers. "The worst thing that happened to him was that his dog died?"- Now now people - let's remember if you paid a backstreet Harlem hit man $20.00 to "kill the bitch" and he got it wrong - it would probably be the worst thing that happened to you - and if you hate America as much as clinton does then 9/11 was a good thing!! - lets be kind to the sad old git!!

One day Clinton heard Descartes say: "I think, therefore I am". ANd it downed on Clinton that he need no more work nor do good deeds, but try to think, or at least feign to - if the drugged trailer trash stud wannabe could not figure a Monica from Yeltsin. And so it was that he became President by stating in his speech on the mountain:"I have a plan. I have a dreaaaaaam! that we all think about what to do to AMerica instead of doing good deeds."

After that, AMerica, the nation that once believed "I do good deeds, I bear good fruits, therefore I am", became "I think therefore I am", and thinking it did, or pretending so since America never thought before, only to find itself thought for, but not done for, and it abandoned works, abandoned its children and only to contain speeches of arrogance, hatred, idolatry and motivation to steal from taxpayers what it could not produce anymore.

So did Lyndon Johnson.

Recognizing these types of people BEFORE they are elected is the essence of being "conservative".

Oh, he's delusional all right. Did Schippers comment on the following quote from the article?

Now the ex-president is contesting even that, insisting that the war on terrorism, while important, “is not like World War II at all” and will eventually be seen in the context not of the Bush presidency but of Clinton’s global achievements.

Nice scoop, DFU, thanks!

He is beyond delusion and is a clear and present danger to the planet.

If anyone did not know, Schippers twice had voted for Bill Clinton. He told me in a previous conversation, that when Henry Hyde called, he expected to be involved for just a few weeks. The amount of criminality he discovered astounded him.

When RATS try to blame the right wing, remind the nitwits of Schippers' credentials -- lifelong loyal Democrat, voted twice for Clinton. If anyone is in a position to know about criminality, it is Schippers. He saw the evidence, some of which won't be seen for another 48 years because it is locked away in the Ford Building. I say --- FREE THE FORD BUILDING.

Those who say there was nothing to the investigation or that it was just about a BJ are disingenuous, ignorant, partisan, foolish liars.

Is there no way of putting Clinton behind bars?

I fear not. His presidential immunity extends into a pridefull view that it would be like putting a big black smear on the Constitution. Even right minded conservatives don't seem to have the balls to do it. The rest of the reason is that the host of co-conspirators would likely be some big time people. These scum have the drop on each other so that if one goes down the rest follow. Something tells me that the scandal would be more than anyone is willing to risk.IMHO

I read the Newsweek interview at a slightly different level, and it made me smile.

On the one hand, I was pleased that Clinton didn't attack President Bush over the War on Terror, recess appointments, et al.

On the other hand, I was THRILLED that the Lefties at Newsweek feel the need to do yet another puff piece on Clinton. WJC must really be lacking gravitas to have to be so propped so continuously by his remaining supporters.

Furthermore, it's probably KILLING the radical Lefties to admit that Clinton, as unpopular as he is today, is currently still the MOST popular national Democratic Party figure.

That's just got to hurt. I almost "feel their pain."
