Fascinating how you keep using the word "voluntary" when a tax supported branch of government is sponsoring the event.
I again ask you if it is OK for a school district and its personnel to be a sponsor for the upcoming Southern California Christian Harvest Party?

Because she was hurt by both of them, and found herself pretty lonely after graduating from High School, she turned to a gal she met while working at a local Amusement Park. She drinks too much, has struggled with her confusion in therapy, and seems like self-guilt is eating her up. Yeah....the "gay" lifestyle. Prayers coming for your step-daughter.

I again ask you if it is OK for a school district and its personnel to be a sponsor for the upcoming Southern California Christian Harvest Party?its moot whether its ok. at issue is whether i would call it "forced" when it was voluntary and fight it under a silly name like PULLS.

Our kids are getting a "pretty little picture" of homosexuality and rarely see the other side of the coin. So let's get honest here, shall we?you telling me these schools don't teach about STD's and loneliness? i'm seriously shocked.

But I cannot remember what the SAD stood for. Something like same-sex attraction syndrome. Same-sex Attraction Disorder (SAD). A mental disorder where the afflicted desires (obviously) unnatural sexual relations with his own sex. Easily treated with reparative therapy if the afflicted is willing to give up the behavior. Caused in almost all cases by either mental trauma (usually molestation) or a poor or absent relationship with the SADs' father (for male SADs) or mother (for female SADs).
[needless to say SAD is also a sin and is easily forgiven if the SAD repents and seeks to change]
God Save America (Please)

Would you mind others using your ping?"
Actually it's Khepera's ping, but I don't think he'll mind if you use it.

Fascinating how you keep using the word "voluntary" when a tax supported branch of government is sponsoring the event. You are wrong. The event is funded by the Torrance Education Foundation, a non-profit foundation.
It says so clearly in the article; read before opining.
To: Looking for Diogenes
And you clearly did not notice the references in the article to this being held on campus, the "North High Community" which "pulled this together", and the alternative sites discussed being other schools. And now for the bonus question LfD, where does the "nonprofit Torrance Education Foundation" get ITS $$$ FROM?
I see you live in CA, you should know that I live a mile and half away from North High in Torrance CA before speculating on what the source of the TEF funds are.
So your next in the box LfD, since "gfactor"did'nt have the huevos to answer me.
Is it OK to have a school district allow for a christian harvest crusade to be held on school premises, on a saturday, with attendence being "voluntary" [with an opt out form ;-)], and using ancilliary support (announcements, teacher assistance, etc.) from government employees?

Your group is great. Please keep us informed on this issue. Your group has done such a good job, maybe you could take the fight nationally.
The Free Republic is certainly one way to get started forming a national group.
