New Post Office Service Ensures Money Transfer To Mexico

The Dunn Post Office now provides a new money-by-wire transfer service called “DineroSeguro.”

The program is a new way for individuals to send money to family and friends in Mexico safely and promptly.  The local post office is the only one in Harnett County and surrounding areas with the program. The Newton Grove Post Office hopes to have the service in place sometime later this year.

While Postmaster Miller is obviously not the brightest bulb on the tree, it does not sound like his masters at the Post Office have set out the talking points too clearly on the IIFTP (Illegal Immigrant Funds Transfer Program).

Those posters for this program have been in the local post office here in California for awhile - and the sight of them makes me mad each visit!

Now here's something I would like to see about a 25% tax on: sending money out of the country.

If the transaction is done for another, the customer must complete a transaction report and provide the name, address and Social Security number of the other individual. “Providing required personal identification information helps protect law-abiding customers in a number of ways,” Mr. Miller said.

No problem for the illegal aliens. That's what phony IDs are for.
