Pinging the DC Chapter members!! We'll be meeting at the Pentagon tomorrow (Saturday April 6th) to pay our respects to those who were killed on 9-11, and will follow with a DC Chapter planning meeting at Bennigan's in Landmark. All DC Chapter members are invited to attend, participate, plan, brainstorm...

Time: 1pm - 3pm at the Pentagon. Some of us (me) will be a little late getting to the Pentagon, because of other responsibilities. The meeting at Bennigan's will be immediately after the Pentagon vigil. See you there!

It looks like Tarheels will be well represented in DC on April 20th. You're all invited. We're gonna have a heckuva great rally in two weeks. Road trip, anyone?

Maybe one of these folks can give you some help. When left to my own devices, I don't have great luck finding parking spots downtown. I usually have to get my navigator to do double duty as a parking spot spotter.

Given that the 20th is also the date for the "other" demonstrations, and that the Metropolitan and Park police will block off many streets leading to and around the sites of the demonstrations, the nearest parking is likely to be somewhat distant from the Mall. I would plan to leave my car at a Metro station outside of DC, and take the MetroRail in to the Smithsonian or Federal Triangle stop.

Frankly, that is what I do almost every time I go to Downtown DC, anyway.

Re: The Patriots Raly For America logo. Can any one get copies of this made up into patches or such about 3" by 4"? If so, I can get 60 base ball caps (white caps with black bills) to which this logo could be fixed as an emblem or crest. The caps would cost about $40/60.
