We'll put you in the middle of the convoy to Bennigan's...and honk if you try to get out of line. See you at the Pentagon.
To: SolitaryMan
The commies' parade route is 15th St., NW, from Constitution Ave. to Pennsylvania Ave., then down Pennsylvania Avenue to the Capitol.
Street parking is available on Constitution Ave. from the Lincoln Memorial (23rd St.) all the way down the Mall. There is street parking on the numerous side streets north of the Mall between 23rd St. and 15th St.
There are also some parking garages open on Saturdays in the downtown area.
If you do drive, come early for the best chance for close-in parking.
Metrorail has parking lots at stations on the the Red, Orange and Blue lines in Maryland. The closest stations to the Rally are Smithsonian, Federal Triangle, Farragut West and Farragut North.

: ( I'm not going to be able to go after all.
I'm expecting my parents up from FL to visit and that is the only weekend that they can make it.
I hope you guys have a great road trip and I'm sorry that I'm going to miss it.

I'll be there on the 20. Have sign making party next weekend with fellow Freeper YourAdHere. We'll be ready.

I'm on my way to the Pentagon. I look forward to seeing you at the Rally. If you have time, make an extra sign or two for those who might need one. Thanks.

Thanks for the NFO. We drove down there today to look at the Cherry Blossoms today, what a mad house driving around was. Not to mention the parking. Anyway, see you in a couple of weeks.

The Cherry Blossoms were beautiful on Wednesday when Kristinn and I had our meeting at Haines Point with the Park Service. The streets, though, were a nightmare with pedestrians everywhere and people waiting to find parking spots. Two weeks and counting down to The Patriots Rally for America! See you soon.

I'm so sorry you can't make it to the Rally, but family is very important. I hope your parents have a safe trip.
You can help us get the word out about the Rally, though. We need callers to get on C-Span or talk radio programs and mention the Rally. The more calls, the better to spread the news about a pro-America, pro-troops rally on the Mall. Anything you can do will be appreciated.

Just bumping the thread after a very long day out in the cold and wind. Daughter of tgslT is soaking her parade weary feet. She thinks that you guys are A-Number One for working so hard to make The Patriots Rally for America happen. Isn't it great when your kids think your friends (and you) are cool?!
To: tgslTakoma
"Isn't it great when your kids think your friends (and you) are cool?!"Yup. As my 16 yo son said when he met you all, "They may be a little twisted, but its in the right direction." Huh? Oh well, they know it all at 16. Still try and figuring why they have to go to school.
Still planning on being there for the 20th.
To: Angelwood
Bump and a modest PayPal donation for the rally. Still hoping to make it but work conflicts may prevail.

Thanks much, LisaFab. Hope it works out so that we get to see you again at the Rally. FReep On!

If I can come down I will certainly be sporting my "CNN Babe Beads" you all gave me at the MRC Dishonorable Awards dinner in February!
Did any of you out-of-town FReepers get any good hotel rates? Where is everbody staying?
