When VD /STDs are now so previlant , in younger and younger people, I'd say that we ( as a nation ) have a problem. Time was, when children engaging in sexual activities, was NOT the norm. VD wasn't a laughing matter, and open advertizing of " cures ", weren't constantly on T.V and radio stations. Of course, that ad makes genital herpes seem like no big deal. That is neither helpful, nor the truth.

What used to be called venereal diseases are now termed sexually transmitted diseases.

Venereal specifies a certain location of the disease but they're realizing many diseases are spread sexually that can affect any part of the body. Certain head and neck cancers are also spread through sexual transmission and plenty of blood diseases are. Hepatitis C and many lymphomas are sexually transmitted.

Re: #45 I'd say that's a cultural problem, not a color problem. I grew up in the military and knew plenty of black families that didn't follow this self-destructive behavior. It's a matter of turning back the tide of liberalism, where too many blacks are convinced of the likes of Jesse HiJackson and Al Charlatan. Young white girls have such great role models as Madonna and Britney (Barf). In case you hadn't noticed, they are white.

Really though, you have to be a moron to get clap and walk around with it.

Problem though, is, some of the new viruses show no symptoms in some people. You could have HPV, not know it, and pass it on to who knows how many. And it's not about going to heaven or hell, it's what you get stuck with on this earth. Point is, negative actions can have negative consequences.
