The idea of "hate" crimes is very scary. Maybe even more scary than the anti-Jewish and anti-Christian attitudes of so many Muslims living in the West.

Got it in one, Michael2001 - while everyone else on this thread was refighting tired old fights about Israel and "antisemitism" and the like, you noticed what this story was about: more laws against "hate speach" and "hate crimes". Notice how slippery they are when implying that one very extreme point of view is equivalent to committing actual crimes. These people don't just want to punish you for the crime you commit, they don't just want to punish you more severely for that crime because you did it due to "hate", they also want to punish and censor you for merely stating your opinions about an important political issue, whether you commit a "hate crime" or not. Simply saying something which offends certain people is a "hate crime" according to them. That's the real point of this story, and the real danger.

No. I simply do not like history repressed nor those who do it. Kaganovitch should be as much a name everyone knows as Eichmann is. Stalin did call him "my Eichmann" and he was even more efficient than Eichmann. Why bother with camps? Just take all the food in the land and let people slowly, painfully starve to death. The real tragedy is that there has never been justice for the killers in the Soviet Block. Many are alive today and protected by the countries to which they fled. The biggest cover up of crimes against humanity and genocide in history.

The city, with the largest group of Jews, living outside of Israel, most certainly is NOT London. Your facts are off; wildly. There are quite a number of American cities, with much larger numbers of citizens. who are Jews, than London. You may live in England. You may have family who in in and around London. You just don't know what you're talking about ; or you didn't type what you really meant to say.

Yeah right. Even mention the name and some people start yelling antisemite. Sulzberger was on C-Span the other day speaking at the 100th something anniversity of the New York Times. Guess what the biggest mistake the paper ever made was? I'll give you a hint. It ws not using Walter Duranty and Harold denny to cover up the 7 million Christians murdered in the Ukrainian Holocaust. It was writing enough about the Jewish Holocaust a decade later. The SOB still has Duranty's photo from when he won the Nobel Prize hanging in his offices. There is no cover up, there is no cover up...

I am not Jewish, but I am thoroughly disgusted by the idea that anti-Semitism is taking any root in my country. I've just put a big Israeli flag alongside the Union Jack on the front page of Free Britannia, and there it shall remain until the operations in the West Bank are over. Israel is doing our kind of work in beating the hell out of the terrorists. We should encourage them, not stop them.

At least with the latter group, it is a stand up fight and everyone knows where they stand. Hate crime law is so vague and subjective it creates a climate of fear which allows some very bad actors to take over political systems and rot them from within.

From all I can tell, it's not the average fish and chips Brits that are hating Jews. It's recent immigrants with a different religion than the rest of y'all, and I have a feeling they hate people like you almost as much as they hate Jews.

I do know what i'm talking about and I think that you obviously didn't read my post properly. I didn't say "Largest amount of jews", what I actually said was "Largest concentration of jews". There is quite a big difference i.e Netherlands has the largest concentration of people in Europe, but Germany has the largest population in Europe, as you can see big difference.

So, I stand by the claim.

Yes, Golders Green is very near Stamford Hill, and there is a large concentration of jews there also. Golders Green is where my Jewish friends come from.
