Thanks. I haven't been thrilled with the USA being forced into the Israeli/Palestinian conflict before we chose to but there isn't much choice now. Been reading a lot of the Arab press and one thing is clear: they are overwhelmed by the military might of Israel and have no illusions that a direct attack on Israel is the end for them. Add us in and it gets worse.

Israel doesn't need physical support ( other than material ) but they don't need conflicting messages coming out of the USA

There are two things going on in the Muslim world. Since 911 we have been trying to divide and conquer the Muslim world. The Militant Muslims are playing what would be expected. It is called Unite and Fight Back.

Nothing can unite Muslims like taking on Israel. And if they can manuever the United States into coming down hard for Israel they can Unite the Arab world against us and Israel.

If we used enough nukes to take down a united arabia, we would kill most of the worlds population. And if we get in a terrorist war against a united Arabia we will likely lose.

Nothing would please the arabs as much as taking us into a Vietname terrorist war. How many american deaths would it take to get the American people to trade Israel for peace.

Our strategy from day one has been divide and conquer. Their stratedy from Sadam, to Osama, to bin Laden has been to unite the Muslim world against us. The Militant Muslims are using the death of Israeli citizens to accomplish it.

If we are hard for Isreal we can not divide and conquer we can united them in a Vietnam style victory.

That is the game that is being played. I only ask why you are on theside of the ARABS?

You're right about the brilliant strategy. Case in point: while calling for Israel to withdraw "without delay" the Administration has always, at the same time called for Arabs to denounce Homicide/Suicide bombers. No arab has done so, so Israeli failure to withdraw is OK. Sharon is not defying the President as the media would have you believe.

I heard on Imus this morning that Saddam already has nukes, thanks to Russia, and he is about to get the delivery system, thanks to China. Therefore, he is only a short time away from lobbing them over here. Arabs today said, "It is time for Americans to start dying in their homes." If we wait, this is what we have to look forward to. More significant are the tangible fruits of the Israeli operation. Hundreds of top Palestinian terrorists have now been detained. Their headquarters have been ransacked; their documents seized; their contacts examined.

I'd like to see the Israelis put on a great show...have televized trials in Europe and throughout the Arab world...unmask the terrorists and the weak-kneed weenies in Europe who hide behind the Arab liars...the Europeans should be ashamed of themselves...I guess WW1 and WW2 really drained all their manpower...except for the Brits and the Italians the rest of Europe seems so wussy-like...they're afraid of their own Arab populations so they give in to their visceral anti-Semetic urges...then they turn around and hate the US and Israel for their moral courage and physical strength...I hope that Andrew is right and that we disembowel Irag BIG TIME.
