U-Write Klamath Basin

adapted for Freepers

to your Congress Critters

and national representatives in OUR government in WNDC.

(About KBD)

KBD has been reduced to letter form so you can write to your Lords and Ladies on the Hill. All the research and work has been done for you. All you need do is copy and mail. It is called U-Write. They can't blame you. They will come after me. I am ready.

I am trying desperately to save this country for my kids and grandkids. Since so goes the Klamath Basin and Scott Valley Farmers and Loggers, so goes America, please write those letters and save your way of life. That will help me. Research and documentation is piled high to back everything I have stated.

San Jose, CA 95117

Dear Congressman Honda:
The Honorable Maxine Waters

U.S. Congresswoman

10124 S. Broadway, Suite 1

Dear Congresswoman Waters:

Now, pick one Sentence Set from each of the five Groups.

Pick a first sentence set. Best to take only ONE LINE per box, please, to avoid repetition.
Group 1. Introductory Statement

This letter concerns the Klamath Basin Document (KBD) which was mailed to Speaker Hastert and Senator Daschle on February 28, 2002.

The Klamath Basin Water Crisis has been explained in the Klamath Basin Document (KBD). Having been mailed to Speaker Hastert and Senator Daschle on February 28, 2002, you should be well aware of it by this time.

The Klamath Basin Document (KBD) is the key to the survival of the farmers and loggers.

Mailed to Speaker Hastert and Senator Daschle on February 28, 2002 by Priority Mail, Certified, Return Receipt Requested, the Klamath Basin Document (KBD) is of vital concern to the farmers and loggers and their families..

Shutting down the KID Headgates really hurt the farmers, as explained in the Klamath Basin Document (KBD).

My feelings about government shutting off the irrigation water are very well explained in the Klamath Basin Document (KBD). Please read it.

My concerns have been put in writing in the Klamath Basin Document (KBD) which documents government illegally stealing irrigation water.

In my opinion, government has absolutely no right to control irrigation water. I support the Klamath Basin Document (KBD).

KBD -- Klamath Basin Document -- tells it all. I demand that you act favorably on it, today.

Farmers MUST have their irrigation water. Please study the Klamath Basin Document (KBD) and help them.

Government has made farmers go broke. Please read the Klamath Basin Document (KBD) and help them.

Farmers in the Klamath Basin are in a desperate situation and need your help. The KBD explains it well.

Group 2. Land, Water, Wildlife

This situation is very simple: Our Constitution limits land control and use by the federal government. The federal bureaucracy must leave the Klamath Basin.

The farmers water must be returned to them immediately.

The Constitution of the United States limits federal government control and use of land. To consider other arguments is to violate the Constitution.

The trash sucker fish was never in danger and the Coho salmon does not spawn in the Klamath River. Yet unconstitutional agencies used those excuses to take the farmers water.

Why is government bent on closing a major food producing region? Is it some kind of insane control?

Our Constitution does not authorize the BoR and the BLM. Why are they taking our water?

Treaties are inferior to the Constitution of the United States and have no standing here. No wildlife, no bird, animal, insect, fish or plant can cause government to steal a farmer's land and rights.

The Supreme Court ruled that we have the right to be let alone. Why are unconstitutional agencies unconstitutionally taking our water and telling us how to farm our land?

I do not understand why power companies can take Klamath Basin water. Their rights date way back.

I demand that the EPA and its demon child ESA be abolished. They control land in violation of our Constitution.

In the old days before the dam, the falls completely dried up in the fall. So what is all this water shortage nonsense about now?

Thanks to our unconstitutional bureaucracy, farmers can no longer provide for their families.

I have a farm, but without water I cannot grow enough food to feed my family. Thanks a lot, you guys.

Children go to school with holes in their shoes because government shut off income when they shut off the water.

[Have some more fun. Pick a 3rd sentence set.]

Group 3. Demand favorable action on KBD, Internet Address

The KBD must be read and acted upon favorably immediately by you. The KBD can read it at <http://www.uhuh.com>. Click on Klamath.

"Constitution Trumps Treaties" points out that no treaty, not even the UN Charter, can supersede the Constitution. Therefore, no bird or fish can take land away from the farmers and loggers. Please enter <http://www.uhuh.com> in your browser and click on Klamath.

Congressman, I demand that you enforce the Magna Cartas, American Style, written by Forest Glen Durland. They are at <http://www.uhuh.com>. Click on Klamath.

So go the Klamath Basin farmers, so goes America. Please act on the KBD immediately. Go to <http://www.uhuh.com> and click on Klamath to read it.

Please study the Klamath Basin Document by Forest at <http://www.uhuh.com/action/klamfalls/kfallsdc/list-bas.htm>.

You must study the Klamath Basin Document (KBD). Go to <http://www.uhuh.com> and click on Klamath to read it.

Favorable action on the KBD would give me some hope in Washington, DC. Go to <http://www.uhuh.com> and click on Klamath.

If I did what government is doing, I would be locked up for life. How about reading that KBD and straightening out this mess? Go to <http://www.uhuh.com> and click on Klamath.

Let's see, now. We have the KBD. We have Misprision of Felony. We have notice. Now we need some action before we have to start some. Let's see, now. How about Accessory After the Fact. How about Oath of Office and Color of Law. You will find the KBD at <http://www.uhuh.com/action/klamfalls/kfallsdc/list-bas.htm>. It has all the documentation.

Years of research are behind the KBD. We demand some decent action back there in DC. Go to <http://www.uhuh.com> and click on Klamath.

The KBD points out a simple fact: The Constitution limits federal government land control. So, let's get government out of the Klamath Basin and Scott Valley very soon. Details are at <http://www.uhuh.com/action/klamfalls/kfallsdc/list-bas.htm>.

"Could have known and should have known" is a legal precedent dating all the way back to Abe Lincoln. Those running our federal government better study the KBD immediately. They have absolutely no excuse. Go to <http://www.uhuh.com> and click on Klamath for details.

The KBD points out that those in government are seriously violating the Constitution and their Oath of Office. That sure sounds like the dictatorship that my Dad fought in the war. We better tend to this matter before it gets any worse. You will find the KBD at <http://www.uhuh.com>. Click on Klamath.

Dad must be turning over in his grave. Too bad he couldn't be here to hand carry the KBD to you. Go to <http://www.uhuh.com>, click on Klamath and study the KBD.

[Feel really creative. Add a 4th sentence set.]

Group 4. More Detailed Stuff

How can you Folks back there even accept your pay while you let federal agents starve farmers and loggers off their land?

We will no longer tolerate blatant violations of our Constitution by a bloated bureaucracy.

Your help is urgently needed to save our Constitutional Republic.

The federal government is errant and totally unconstitutional in its actions in the Klamath Basin water crisis.

The Misprision of Felony law dictates that you must act on this problem of an errant government.

People have the right to be let alone, ruled by the Supreme Court.

Please cause honest justice to return to our courts. We demand that our Constitution be respected. Violators must go to prison.

Those making and enforcing laws have no excuse not to know the Constitution of the U.S. They must be sent to prison for violating it.

The government has broken the farmers and loggers. They have no money to fight their own government in court.

I am appealing to you as a last resort. I do not have a million dollars to fight my way up through the courts.

Government forced the farmers to lose all the growing season last year. They demand immediate payment for their loss so they can get their farm producing again.

Treaties can NOT supersede our Constitution, which limits government control of land. . So what is the UN doing listing hundreds of species and areas as endangered in the Klamath Basin?

[Be professional. Add a 5th sentence set.]

Group 5. Court Action, Guns, IRS

Our Constitution does not authorize the BoR, BLM and USFS. Why do their agents wear guns and take the farmers' water?

Federal agents were “in-your-face” with guns at the Headgates. Where does our Constitution give them that authority?

The Federalist Papers guarantee our right to carry guns to protect life, liberty and property. Must we carry guns to protect our water in memory of the old water wars?

Where but in Nazi Germany or in the USSR would this happen? I thought that was why their fathers fought in the war and settled in the Klamath Basin.

A law called Misprision of Felony requires citizens to report crimes. How can Congress and the White House not know about this law and water rights? Well, you know now.

Government has violated its own Constitution and shut off the farmers' water. Isn't that fraudulent misrepresentation? Those responsible should be sent to prison.

Supreme Court rulings supersede Presidential Executive Orders and agency rulings to the contrary. The farmers would like to be let alone.

There is no law that says we must pay income tax. So why does the IRS threaten us? Congressman Armey says American farmers are taxed 80 % higher than in any other industrialized nation.

Why are American farmers taxed more than farmers in any other industrialized country ? Apparently you guys do not like American farmers. Well, we do not like your NAFTA, either.

The first 2/3 of income tax is wasted and lost. Of the rest, every dime goes to pay interest only on the national debt, which continues to grow rapidly. We should quit paying.

Farmers don't want to fight their own government. Why won't they leave them alone so they can farm?

The Indians sold their reservation to the federal government and have no claim to the water or rights. Our taxes have already paid them.

5 USC 706 encourages citizens to take government to court. Can we sue the unconstitutional agencies? Can we sue Congress and the President for these Constitutional violations?

The only agencies that should be in the Klamath Basin are the Post Office, Veteran's Affairs and Social Security until it is repaid. All others should be banned

Why can agencies violate the law? If I did what they did, I would be in jail.

[Always close formally. Pick one close. Be sure to sign your name legibly. ]

Yours truly,

 Until election,

Sincerely,

Respectfully,

With regards,

Thank you,

 Fred Farmer

Following is a sample letter composed from U-Write House. Please note the format. It is important that your letter look good. Please use the letter writing format you learned in school. It is imperative that you use your own handwriting. Typewriters and computers will do, but handwriting packs a powerful punch. Let's get those letters rolling. It may be our only hope of survival.

Children Letters

Following are sample letters for children to write. Be sure your story is true. Compose new ones. How about can't buy fuel for the tractor. Can't buy shoes to wear to school. If it weren't for the Klamath Relief Fund, I don't what we would do for food and clothes.

Two sentences will do just great for these little kiddy letters.

Use your imagination. Letters like these will make the news, and that is exactly what we need.

When the media starts talking honestly about the KBD, we probably will have won.

Dear Mr. Congressman,

Our farm water is gone. A man said you know where it is. Daddy needs our water to make food grow on our farm. We need food and clothes. I need water so I can bring my pony home.

Daddy looks awful worried and tired all the time. Mommy cries every night.

Betsy Kruger

Age 11

Dear Senator,

We had to sell our chickens and cow. Daddy can't find work to buy things. When we had water, we had all those things on our farm.

Sometimes Daddy comes home from hunting work and acts like he is drunk. He scares us and makes Mommy cry. We cry with her and Daddy gets mad and stomps out.

It was never this way before you turned off our water. I do not understand.

Bobby Osterling

Age 10

Dear Mr. Hastert,

Why did you take our water? Daddy doesn't have money to buy food because our farm is all dried up. The Klamath Relief Fund keeps us from starving. Even the wild ducks are hungry.

Mary Jones

Age 9

Dear Mr. Congressman,

We have never been rich, but we had the things we needed. But now, without irrigation water, we have no way to earn a living. Going to school with holes in my shoes is terribly embarrassing. I could not stand it and would stay home except that many of my friends are the same way.

We are all trying to figure out why our federal government has become so cruel. The reasons they give for stopping our irrigation water simply do not make any sense. Your are our Congressman. Can't you please help us?

Janice Moreland

Age 14

Instructions

You should hand write separate letters. It is highly recommended that you use your own hand writing. Pick only one line (maybe two) from each box to avoid repetition.

Letters should be sent Priority Mail,

Certified,

Return Receipt Requested

Save those receipts when they return and give them to your group leader, if you have one. The leaders can then tally the number of letters mailed. That number should be posted on this web site.

The national capitol receives thousands of pieces of mail each day. Plus, the capitol post offices are stalled with the anthrax sniffers. Priority Mail is supposed to ride on top of the mail bag and get first attention.

So use their local, state address.

Italics were used to indicate hand writing. Do NOT use italics if you are using a computer or typewriter.
Sign your name so it can be read. It is best to print your name below your signature.

Fancy displays of art are not good.
Be sure that your name and your return adress are very clear on the envelope.

Please include your zip code so your Congress Person can answer your letter. If there is no return address, they can trash-can your letter. Make yourself known!

All statements made in U-Write are thoroughly documented in the KBD. If your Congress Critters answer your letters and ask questions, simply select an answer from the letter format. You can also refer them to the uhuh web page for some long over due study. If you still need help figuring out an answer, simply contact your group leader or Forest Glen Durland at one of the contacts listed above. If time will permit, he will tell you what to write. We must all do our part to overcome the serious problems facing this nation. And we can do it. It is so simple, if only you will write some letters!

If you find any errors, please email me immediately at <glen@bayarea.net> so that I can correct them. Please tell me which page and which section. And please add FR-KBD near the top so I can filter you in.

Thanks. Forest Glen Durland.

I was bothered with the same problem until I learned about it. Over beer after the convention, the guys were wondering what to call these elected officials. Tom Jefferson finally stated that they were elected so we should offer them that honor. So "Honorable" was agreed upon. After all, as awful as Waters is, she was elected by a majority. We don't want to make her mad. We want to wake her love for her country and its Constitution so she will reign in the offenses.

Thanks for writing those letters. We must write or lose it.

This solution is for everybody since it will get big government off our backs. The Klamath Basin presents a very visible example of federal government run amuck. Therefore, everyone should copy and email these U-Write letters.

It is also something everyone can easily do and enjoy. Comforting is the knowledge that all statements in U-Write are thoroughly documented in the KBD. If questioned, simply send them to uhuh.com for some long overdue homework.
