***Breaking Tomorrow***Clinton Administration Cover-Up of McVey/Mid-East Terror Connection***
Insight Magazine ^ | Kenneth Timmerman

Posted on 04/18/2002 7:38:52 PM PDT by midwestmidnight

I was listening to WTVN 610 AM (Columbus, OH) this evening. They were interviewing Kenneth Timmerman about his book Shakedown. He apologized for delaying the start of his interveiw as he had to talk to his editor at Insight Magazine about meeting his deadline for this story to break on Friday morning (4/19/02). He commented that the story will present evidence that the Clinton Administration and the FBI covered-up information linking Timothy McVey and Middle Eastern Terrorists. Timmerman stated that Clinton wanted to pin all of the blame on Right-Wing Extremists.

It is not the job of the Bush administration to expose Clinton. His number one responsibility to to keep us safe. The rest will come in time. Clinton made 9/11 possible, and that is his LEGACY.

Additionally, keep in mind that Newt Gingrich took over the Speakership of the House in Jan 1995 with Contract with America. They promised to pass all 10 provisions within 100 days and they did it! They were rocking and rolling and Clintonism was in a shambles. Then OKC happened. 04-19-95 was just after the 100 days. It completely turned America against the rightwing. Newt never regained his stride after that.

No doubt, OKC was the PR miracle Hill-Bill's needed to save their political lives, they were going down.

At least that's my working theory.

Sounds very plausible. It would not suprise me in the least if that is what actually happened.

Hogwash. It is the job of the Attorney General to UPHOLD THE LAW! Period! No ifs, ands or buts. He has fallen down on the job. No denying it.

There was nothing on CNN, MSNBC, Fox, or C-Span between 11 a.m. and 11:30 about any victims/lawsuit news conference in OKC, although they all did the memorial story. Time to start freeping, especially Gibson at Fox.

FYI, for those of you who are interested, Ashcroft is, of all places, in Pittsburgh today for a terrorism conference with Asa Hutchinson. Heard on the radio this morning he is supposed to make a "major announcement" at 1:20 p.m. eastern.

This reportedly has to do with the arrest of some drug suspects, but who knows? After all, it is April 19. And Defenbaugh did split this week. And Ashcroft doesn't usually doesn't do "major announcements" about arrests. Maybe CNN will carry it.

Would you rather we ignore the middle east crisis, and the domestic terror issues, so we can drudge thru 8 yrs of slime?

live in the now man....we have far more important, life or death issues to deal with.

We are in the midst of a war, or did u miss that? Taking the alleged moral high ground to vote for some 3rd party guy, who will garner a few thousand votes is no different than voting for a democrat, because it takes a vote away from the GOP. it's people like u who got clinton elected in the first place.

Can we chew gum and walk at the same time? I think so. Is Ashcroft so wrapped up in the war on terrorism that he is unable to uphold other laws? Is his staff that small? Are the American people that unable to handle two crises at once? Your logic is flawed pal. The difference between you and me is that I follow moral principles while you follow the "(R)" after the candidate's name.

The majority of of the voting electorate voted for Clinton pal. Do not blame me for a corrupt and immoral and clueless population. I vote my principles and my conscience. I will not vote for a man who does not uphold the law - who turns a blind eye to corruption, who refuses to cleanse our agencies from Clinton appointees, who refuses to investigate crimes that damaged our nation to an immeasurable degree, who tries to tell me that "Islam is peace," whose policy on terrorism is characterized by hypocrisy (Israel), who endorsed gubernatorial candidates in the primaries who are openly liberal, who appoints homosexual activists to government posts, and last but not least - who is a GLOBALIST at heart who wants to take more of my freedom away. I could go on and on. Try looking at the truth for once instead of your blind loyalty to the "(R)".

By the way, I answer to a higher authority than the govt. of the United States - an eternal one. I vote according to absolute unchanging moral standards of right and wrong. That is my obligation as a Christian. Those who have no god have no understanding of this principle. And I do not care what you think about it. I sleep just fine. You can blame Clinton on Americans who have no morals, who care more about what movie is coming out this weekend than about what is right and wrong, or what is true and good. Such people are motivated by their primal urges and by money, not by morals. Blame a corrupt nation. Your putting the blalame on me is way out of place.

The Downside Legacy. Now that's a name I haven't seen in a long time. Someone emailed me everything a couple years past. It was fascinating but I never got through it all. Wish I'd saved it somewhere.

This thread amazes me. First one I've perused on this topic (and I'm only about half way through the thread). It's striking though ... I'd expect a lot more tin foil hat condemnations, but recall only one posted and that by an evident liberal. In my mind, this gives a lot of credibility to the theory of a Muslim terror connection which I'd never seriously considered before (except in those awful hours following the bombing when the reports were that one or more Middle Eastern looking men were observed in the vicinity immediately prior to the explosion(s)).

Based on what's been said (and the Insight piece which is out now and I've read), I'm still not convinced, although I'm certainly open to possibilities given the calibur of those FReepers who've weighed in on the topic.

I'd be grateful if you would email me what you have on the Downside Legacy. I'll FReepmail my addy to you.

Thanks and have a GREAT weekend!

Just that they are the type of freaks that would do such a thing.

What's your beef with the Michigan Militia? Do you know any MM members? Can you name one "freakish" thing the MM has ever done? Or do you lock in your opinions after reading the New York Times or Time Magazine?

I've met a dozen, or so, MM members; not a law breaker among them (or freak, for that matter). I subscribed to their newsletter for awhile; no radical ideology, no illegal acts discussed.

What branch of the government do you work for that you're spouting the company line so faithfully?

I have a simple rule of thumb - if the FBI or DOJ are involved, you can expect lies, lies and more lies. Quick review of past cover-ups and lies: Waco, Ruby Ridge, Elian snatching, OKC, TWA Flt#800, Chinagate, Pardongate, to name a few. Who can trust such a government? I certainly can't and won't.

"...don't you think the media would be all over it."

LOL!

Your talking about the media that said nothing about Clinton's Enron connections. You know, how he played Golf with Kenneth Lay. How Kennith Lay spent nights in the Licoln bed room. How he secured Billions in loans for Enron. How Clinton and gang worked out a deal for Enron to build a power plant in India(by the way, that deal went sour leaving the US tax payers with some 300 million dollar bill.) That media? Ya,right!

And I've just started

No offense, but that's just absurd. Clinton was a small-time politician who on his charisma and on the strenth of his astoundingly glib strategies and supporters alone managed to win the governorship of Arkansas. He lies, he rapes women and sexually assaults women, he manipulates, he un-hesitatingly subordinates the public interest to his own interests. However, there's no way in a few short years as president he managed to persuade professional members of our intelligence infrastructure (aside possibly from lawyer and political hack-appointees at the very top) to destroy a federal building and kill hundreds of innocent Americans all for his own personal political purposes. People would know about it. People would object and blow the wistle. NO ONE on the ground would actually go out and implement it. Certainly clinton is smart enough (whatever else we might say about this otherwise moronic apt-to-treason character) to not risk EVERYTHING on so utterly risky (and likely impossible) a venture.

Clearly he shamelessly capitalized on the tragic event, in almost uniquely clinton fashion. He may well have covered up Muslim connections to singularly villify right wing extremists. Wouldn't surprise me for a second. We give him way too much credit by actually suggesting he had a direct hand in the bombing.

My theory is that Clinton knew in advance what the Elohim City militia types were planning...

To understate, Elohim City was awash with government informants and agents.

Add to this, Dennis Mahon, the leader of EC admitted receiving money every month from the Iraqi embassy according to Steven Jones' petition for Writ of Mandamus, filed March 25, 1997.

EC should be referred to as a government operation not militia. American government? Iraqi? Or both?

I don't think you're being blamed for anything. However, conservatives turning to third-party candidates (like Ross Perot, whom I ALMOST voted for) did, without any doubt, result in us having clinton as the 42nd president.

Exactly. Lets keep it out of the tinfoil realm. IMHO, Clinton's corruption was often not so much proactive, as reactive. For example, I don't think he had anything to do with events like the train murders near Arkadelphia by crooked sheriffs involved in drug activities. But he did know and assist in covering up that corruption, thinking keeping it quiet would be easier than dealing with a full-blown scandal. Same with OKC, he didn't plan for it or know that it was going to take place. But I believe that he did ignore any Iraqi or Arab involvement and focused solely on the right-wing angle. Would fit his pattern of ignoring and obfuscating inconvenient facts that would lead down a messy path, where possible.

Since my limited experience with the Michigan Militia didn't introduce me to any "freaks", and I never heard any of the above quotes you cite, I'm curious how you came to such negative conclusions about the MM.

Do you know any MM members? Any MOM (Militia of Montana) members? Did you see MM and MOM representatives pin Arlen Specter's ears back while giving testimony to the Senate? The "freaks" were a hell of a lot better informed then "Magic Bullet" Specter expected.

If, as I suspect, your opinions of militia members come from Time Magazine (or 60 Minutes) confession is good for the soul; but certainly not expected on an open thread. At least ask yourself; we promise not to listen.

I've seen other of your posts and this thread doesn't live up to expectations.

We all act on limited information (myself included), and we find ourselves wrong all the time. Please don't call our loyalties and intentions into question for that reason alone.

Better to make your case on a civil level first, and then take up the fight when you understand the other party's point of view, regardless of the extent to which you believe they are informed.

We've all been wrong. Let's not hang one just because we believe one another wrong on some point.

Safe from whom? The crimes committed by the Clinton administration and DNC (like stealing presidential elections using illegal money from Red China, like blackmailing congresspersons using illegal information from FBI files, like killing cabinet officials because they were about to turn states evidence in Chinagate and CampaignFinanceGate), and the Bush administration's ignoring all those crimes, pose a much bigger threat to this nation's survival and the freedoms we enjoy than any terrorist or other nation ever could.

Remember an arab man was detained trying to leave the country following the bombing.
