Thanks for the analysis of her district.

I was wondering about that...

It also should be noted that McKinney wasn't the only politician to receive contributions from Muslim organizations or individuals with ties to terrorism, but other politicians - including George W. Bush and Hillary Clinton - returned the money not long after they received it. McKinney has not.

I'm with the consensus on this thread thinking that McKinney is both dangerous and an idiot. But frankly, I'd have to see proof that Monica Lewinsky's ex-boyfriend's wife actually returned the money before I'd believe the above statement.

One on her staffers has also been caught handing over Pentagon brifing materials to so-called "peace activist" who want to disarm the US. CW McKinney has also proposed legislation (H.R. 3155) that would prohibit the Pentagon from using some of its most effective weapons and would give the EPA and HHS veto power over weapons systems.

She's a menace, and frankly I don't think it's stupidity but rather outright malignancy toward the USA.

Judge will challenge McKinney

Web posted Thursday, January 24, 2002

Associated Press

DECATUR, Ga. - State Court Judge Denise Majette plans to give U.S. Rep. Cynthia McKinney her first Democratic primary challenge in six years. Judge Majette, 46, has resigned her seat on the DeKalb County bench effective Feb. 1. A formal announcement of her candidacy for the 4th District seat is expected after that. She has filed paperwork with the Federal Elections Commission allowing her to raise money for a campaign in the suburban Atlanta district.

McKinney officials refused Tuesday to comment on Judge Majette's candidacy.

Ms. McKinney was first elected in 1992 in Georgia's 11th District. The last time she faced a primary challenge was in 1996 against three white men after the courts forced Georgia to redraw its congressional map, putting her in the 4th District. Ms. McKinney, who is black, won that contest with 58 percent of the vote.

Judge Majette would be the first black woman to challenge Ms. McKinney from within her own party. Republican Sunny Warren ran against her in the general elections of 1998 and 2000.

A native of Brooklyn, N.Y., and a Georgia resident since 1983, the judge is a graduate of Yale University and Duke University School of Law. She has been a State Court judge since 1993. Before that, she was an administrative law judge for the state Board of Workers' Compensation and was a law clerk for state Supreme Court Justice Robert Benham when he was on the State Court of Appeals.

Ms. McKinney is often controversial but is supported by an entrenched political machine built during the past decade, with strong backing in much of black south DeKalb County. Much of her opposition comes from the county's predominantly white northern Atlanta suburbs, where critics say she has been unresponsive to their needs.

Primary elections are scheduled for July.

********************************************************

From the look of all the charges racking up against her, I'd say Cynthia McKinney may not make it to this next election, her political career (at least in Washington) just may be washed up, here's hoping. She's stepping on a lot of toes at the FBI too (COINTELPRO).

Methinks Ms. Mckinney is a UN shill, along with ex Mayor campbell, working for her buddy, UN ambassador Andrew Young.

Cynthia used to work for Wal Mart (and I don't want to take anything away from Wal Mart).

What happened to literacy tests and the poll tax? as in thanks again LBJ for destroying our culture!

BTW Cynthia, she be the #2 in the democRAT Progressive Caucus - as in pure overt socialists.

Her politics are beyond the usual rat politics of confiscation of those who produce and redistribtion to those who are outvoted!

To me, the jury is still out as to what kind of shill McKinney is- I really think she's the worst kind of black racist- a bad beginning, and the situation gets worse from there. Corrupt? Dense but manipulative? In the pocket of anti-American pressure groups?

I just heard on Michael Savage's radio show that Cynthia McKinney appeared at the pro-Palestine, death-to-Israel hatefest in D.C. over the weekend.
