Would these be the same people we see dancing in the streets when Iraq hits Israel with a scud, when suicide murderers kill Israeli children, or when 3000 American lives are snuffed out by their allies? Are these THOSE people?

Walked around with "an open mind", did he? Sure wouldn't know it by this stilted piece.

"Israelis - mean, vicious, cold-blooded, violators of international law; Palestinians - victims".

What crap.

It's always tragic when civilians get caught in the crossfire between two warring camps. Trouble is, the Pallies bit off more than they could chew and got their butts waxed. Want to vent at someone? Take it out on Arafat and other Palestinian "leaders" who find it oh-so-f**king-noble to die for the cause and take as many civilians with them as possible.

He joined the crowd. Soldiers yelled at him to take off his shirt, then his trousers. He clung to his bag of medicine as he tried to unbuckle his belt, and he was slow. The soldiers shot him, friends say.

In a culture where lying and hyperbole is a legitimate political weapon, it would take more than "... friends say." to even remotely consider any description of an incident factual.
Like the helpless "palestinian" "boy" who survived 9 days in the rubble.

Gosh I wonder if any of these folks trained at WACO?

It sure is great to have friends in the Middle East.

Terje Roed-Larsen, the United Nations envoy to the Middle East, cut through the propaganda by stating the obvious: "No military operation can justify this scale of destruction. Whatever the purpose was, the effect is collective punishment of a whole society."

For some time now I'v been ending my reading of articles when I reach statements like the above. They show that the author has no intent of telling the truth, and are usually a sign of either the AP or a mainstream UK paper.

"I eventually gained access last Tuesday, walking in with as open a mind as I could muster."

To the author of this liberal trash piece:

Really? Try harder next time. Did you walk through Berlin in the 1940's after the USAF/RAF retaliated for the bombing of London? Would your mind have been "open" then?

War is hell. Muster this.

A quote from the article: Terje Roed-Larsen, the United Nations envoy to the Middle East, cut through the propaganda by stating the obvious: "No military operation can justify this scale of destruction. Whatever the purpose was, the effect is collective punishment of a whole society."

He and his family received telephone death threats from Israeli callers for his pains.

This is an example of the propaganda of this article. Such a statement is not "obvious", its a conclusion. A conclusion that Larsen made without any facts at all. A conclusion that makes his bias, and the author's, obvious.
