Nablus, West Bank -- The top leader of al-Aqsa Martyrs' Brigades emerged from hiding for an hour yesterday to deliver a defiant message: Israel's military offensive did not cripple the Palestinian militia, which is planning new attacks on Israeli soldiers and settlers.

Mahmoud Attiti, the one founder of the al-Aqsa Brigades who has not been killed or captured by Israel, said the militia is regrouping throughout the West Bank and digging in for a long, underground war. In a shift of tactics, he said the group would not send more suicide bombers to target civilians inside Israel. But he would not rule out attacking military targets within Israel's internationally recognized borders.

This just goes to show that the only way that peace will ever come between Israel and the Palis is with a complete, total, military defeat of the terrorists. Try thinking REALLY REALLY hard about this for a minute and then repeat: "If a nuke goes off in New Jersey City, then Atlantic City is going to catch fallout". Now let's apply this to Israel: "If a nuke goes off in Ramallah and Jenin then the residents of Tel Aviv and Jerusalem aren't going to need lights to see at night for the next year or so."

If accurate this is huge. This tells us right here that the Israeli gamble paid off. While they made have to sustain attacks it looks like they won't be letting off suicide bombs inside Israel anymore.
