"Dear Islam Practioners:
In the early days that followed the radical Islamic attacks on peaceful innocent Americans, you had it in your power to short circuit the understandable backlash that would occur. Instead of coming together as Americans, and loudly and frequently condemning those atrocities, you chose to hide in your homes, segregated as Muslims, and let a few of your cleric spout meaningless platitudes and rhetoric in photo ops.
Months later the American populace still has yet to hear from you in any significant numbers condemning those horrific acts from your Islamic brothers. And you wonder why your neighbors, your customers, your employers, your fellow countrymen regard you with suspicion and treat you in a less than favorable manner. It also doesn't help your cause for some of your leadership to blame 9/11 on America's foreign policies, nor conducting mass demonstrations for homicidle Palestinians in D.C.
Until the day comes that you show solidarity and allegiance to your native or adopted country rather than to your agressive backward religion or some Arab entity, yes, you will be suspect; you will be ostracized; you will be discriminated against; and you will be considered second class citizens. Americans are some of the most tolerant people in the world, but we draw the line at attacks on our loved ones by any enemies, foreign or domestic.
An American First"
If your meetings and subsequent "plans" do not include a sincere, strong and visual support for America and your fellow countrymen, then you will only be adding fuel to the fire. Be advised, you will only alienate yourselves further if you take the victimhood road.
