President Bush spoke to the press late this afternoon from the Western Whitehouse, confirming reports that both Israel and Arafat have agreed on a way to end the stand off at Arafat's headequarters. Arafat has agreed to hand over six wanted terrorists to US and British officials while the Israelis have agreed to let Arafat free and to pull out of Ramallah. Enjoy your daily dose of Dubya!

ou are right about that thread. I heard only part of the discussion with the press. Sorry I got tangled up with the Bush-bashers, but they were WAY over the top today.
It amazes me that Netenyahu says that there is no greater friend to Israel than President Bush, yet we have people here who consider him a sell-out. I guess they are more Israeli than Bibi.

this mess has been going on for 5000 years, not just 30 years. I dont know why everyone thinks the USA can stop it. President Bush may be able to help, but he can't stop it. Did you read the report on MSNBC web site about the reporter who went over the Arabia and had his video and laptop confiscated? He had stuff on the arab schools being anti-american. It was a great article. This happened while the Arab guy was at Bush's ranch from what I can understand.

I think the "sell-out" is fro Bush telling Sharon to get his troops out of palastinian strongholds. I am cunfused on this myself, since the Jewish people are fighting terrorists just like we are. I think it's hipocritical to tell them to stop fighting the terrorists.
