"If you don't like Washington, resign!" said a typical big-city newspaper editorial. What the run-of-the-mill DC liberal hates the most about Ron Paul is that he represents the interests of his district instead of Washington bureaucrats!
GO IT, RON!! My thoughts exactly!

Anyone know what his re-election chances are? About a 100% give or take a percentage or so.

The other day, I made a huge "gaffe" on national TV: I told the truth ...
I was interviewed on C-SPAN's morning "Washington Journal," Didn't see him. Which day was this?

Anyone know what his re-election chances are? Pretty good. The hill country of central Texas is conservative; the "Peoples Repulic of Austin" is in another district.
The re-districting shifted some conservatives areas out of Paul's Dist 14 and into Lamar Smiths's 21st.
My gut feeling is both will be re-elected.

I tremble for my country when I consider that such a man as this is considered an "extremist," as often I hear people denounce him. In that case, I should think we need a few dozen more such extremists.

Why I guess I forgive him for not being in town to deliver me.

Everybody.....My congressman, Dr. (MD) Dave Weldon, FL is cosponsoring HR 4169 "The American Service Members and Citizen Protecton Act of 2002", to nullify any United States participation in the UN's International Criminal Court, and to ask President Bush to recind Clintons signature on the document.
Call your representative Monday and ask him/her to also cosponsor HR 4169.

The Libertarian Party is full of people who think like Ron Paul. Ron Paul was the Libertarian Party candidate for president of the U. S. in 1988.

It is good to see that this country still produces good, honest people.

I'm in Victoria, and he is popular here. He was a Doctor in a little town called Bayside - between Refugio and Corpus Christi.

"World government is obviously unconstitutional."
Borderless one world hegemony is the Libertarian dream.

If this Constitutional Republic had a dozen guys like Ron Paul in Congress, and just a few less liberal dogs, We'd be cooking with grease! Aye Roscoe?

"Hegemony" and "Libertarian" are more commonly thought of as competing ideologies.

I love my congressman. When the "war on terror" began, a friend of mine here at FR, who actually has read the constitution said: Hey....why don't we ask Ron Paul to draft legislation asking the President to issue letters of Marque and Reprisal since that is the only Constitutional remedy in this situation. Great Idea. It was the next day that Ron Paul was making a speach regarding letters of Marque and Reprisal.
Since I was in his district, I was volunteered ( :) ) to make contact. Soon thereafter (within a week) the legislation was drafted and put into the record upon which it was completely ignored by the so-called conservative Republicans in Congress and the Senate. Bush certainly wouldn't touch that stuff with a ten-foot pole since his oil buddies wouldn't make a bundle on a new "war on terror."
At any rate, I love Ron Paul. He is the epitomy of representative government. He listened when we offered some ideas and did something about it. You won't find that in any other Congressman or Senator. He really should be President.
