When my dad applied for the I.D. card, it was supposed to be used only for the buying or selling of guns and ammunition. Later, it was changed and my Brother-in-law went to jail for having a handgun in his Oak Park house and not having a card. My Brother-in-law actually became angry when he saw my Texas CCW card. He couldn't understand how a normal citizen could have something like that.
