Sure, put your cursor over the picture and hit the right mouse button. The properties show the url and you can save during this step also.

I had the file on our computer and uploaded it to our site. There is some other stuff there also.

url is webpages.charter.net/HarrisfamilySC/election.jpg
I think I typed the url correctly but I usually use the right mouse button so I don't have to remember.

As nicely as I can put it. The demokrats got the blue collar black vote.

The blue dot in the middle of Texas is Travis County, home to Austin and the University of Texas and commonly referred to as "Moscow on the Colorado River."

The blue areas to the South and West are primarily hispanic, many of whom are illegals but voted democRAT anyway.

Maine and the Kennedy controlled idiots of the NE must be diehard and brain dead that the democratic issues have changed to demokratic.

I was talking to Tom DeLay's daughter and they have an even more detailed one, county by county or something like that. I will ask her if it is something we can post here. It is good to look at maps like that and GLOAT! I have the red/blue map printed out on glossy photo paper, and hung on my refrigerator with magnets! I enjoy looking at it daily! Winning is a good feeling!

DeLay's map was precinct by precinct. It's a sea of red with small dots of blue. I'll see if I can locate an online source.

Don't forget these Stats!!

--------------------------------------

Interesting election Stats

Who won what?

Population of counties won by Gore: 127 million
Population of counties won by Bush: 143 million

Square miles of country won by Gore: 580,000
Square miles of country won by Bush: 2,427,000

States won by Gore: 19
States won by Bush: 29

Average Murder per 100,000 residents in counties won by Gore: 13.2
Average Murder per 100,000 residents in counties won by Bush: 2.1

Compiled by: Professor Joseph Olson,
Hamline Univeristy School of Law,
St. Paul, Minnesota 55104-1235

----------------------------------------

And here are my questions:

Why did Gore lose BOTH his home state of Tennessee AND Clinton's home state of Arkansas in landslides (Gore lost TN by 3.87% and AK by 5.45%)?

Do the voter's in those states know something important that the rest of America doesn't know?

Has any elected President ever lost his home state?

-------------------------------

Let us know how it goes. The more bitter the reaction, the better you did!

I noticed an error in the county maps in posts 6 and 10.
The county map in finnman69's post has the correct color for Ventura County, CA, which voted for Bush.
Ventura 2000 Presidential Election results

Ventura County is between Santa Barbara and Los Angeles counties, both of which voted for Gore, on the horizontal coast of CA, with these three counties surrounded by Bush supporting counties. Starting from the south, Ventura is the fourth coastal county after San Diego, Orange, and LA counties, and is about 1/4 of the way up from the southern end of the state.
