The Ultimate Response to the "Bush Knew" Smear (RNC please take note)

Okay people, I don't usually write one-line vanities, but I have what I consider the Ultimate Rebuttal to the smear that Bush knew about September 11 in advance.

Osama bin Ladin bragged that not even all the hijackers
knew where they were really headed.

If the actual perpetrators didn't know what was going to happen,
HOW WAS GEORGE W. BUSH SUPPOSED TO KNOW?

There you are, kids. In two sentences, this horrible smear by the DNC is destroyed. Take it it, run with it, hit the airwaves, write letters to the editor, go on the radio, get this message out.

I thought that was a horrible anology. Since...

We would have known what country was attacking - Japan

We would have known that the instrument of attack would have been one of a limited number of Japanese fleets.

Targets would have been limited to Pacific Islands or maybe a west coast city.

Good point. Of course, some of the latest Dem spin is "why didn't we know about this 'warning' before now?" Well, as pointed out by this morning's Glenn Beck program, VP Cheney, in a 9/15/01 interview with Russert on MTP, made clear that the administration had general information about an Al Quaeda threat, that it had placed forces overseas on alert several times during the summer of 2001, but that there was no way to predict the precise events of 9/11. Beck read from the MTP transcript and there is NOTHING being reported now that wasn't said FOUR DAYS AFTER THE EVENT!

Laz, I also noticed the democrats saying they didn't get the same briefing the President did is a lie also, They are speaking Clntonese. I heard a democrat senator say he went to the archicves and pulled the briefing for that SAME day (August 6th) and there was no mention of hyjackings, he knows damn well that Congress gets the briefings the next day. That was another attempt at implying the Bush administration is covering something up.
