It's not a "great read" it's total tripe.

Fighting a war has nothing to do with deficit spending OUR money like a damn crack whore. It also has nothing to do with signing unconstitutional legislation.

It also has nothing to do with making his die-hard broken glass supporters play second fiddle to illegal criminal aliens, or creating all these big new resource draining bureaucracies.

"You gotta give in order to get" is not what's going on. Most of his RINO intitiatives were generated by him and his RINO board of advisors and the back stabber Carl Rove. This administration is self serving and party serving, it wouldn't know conservatism or the constitution if it smashed them in their spend-thrift faces.

He's implying that all of this crap (CFR, the horrid farm bill, federal takeover of airports, pandering to illegals, the Ted Kennedy education bill, etc.) is done out of his great patriotism and love of country

Listen, goober, those things aren't done because they help the country. They are done in order to get the porkers in Congress to go along with helping the country.

You obviously flunked basic political theory. Apparently you think that we elected a dictator, who can wave his magic wand and grant your every wish.

The Senate is DEMOCRAT. The House is NARROWLY DIVIDED. We are AT WAR, and although the President and most of the people get it, the Hill seems to think this is the opportunity to grab goodies. President Bush doesn't have time to educate the people and get into long, drawn-out arguments about minimizing spending or why certain programs should be abolished.

This is article is exactly right. His priority is to win the war. All else pales in comparison.
