things have changed for the better regarding the flow of information. I know it's not quite as profound as we'd all like, but I do thing the web and talk radio are doing a lot towards bypassing the corrupt, celebrity-worshipping media

But, all of us on FR should recognize that WE ARE NOT THE AVERAGE AMERICAN. Just by logging on to FR you set yourself in the upper fraction of 1% of political junkies.

Job #1 is to learn from FR and PASS IT ON in your conversations with Fellow Americans. Everyone needs to learn the TRUTH about what is going on, and they ain't gonna get it from the LameStream Media.

Rob, you know you'll get no argument from me... I think it was Marshall McKluen (?) who said "the media is the message" years ago... well, what the Media is nowadays is, the problem!

The press is bad enough, but the entertainment industry works hand-in-glove with them to tell people what's cool, what's to be emulated, and what's to be despised.

Not only do we all need to tell everyone what we learn here, we need to get everybody we know to bypass the corrupt, celebrity-worshipping media, get on the web, listen to talk radio, and get their own news. Without the filters.
