Anyone else notice that western reporting on the "Most Important War Crimes Trial since Nurenburg" has dropped off almost completely. Could it be that the trial is turning out to be a circus, an embarassment?

This is truly hilarious, though. ICTY's star "inside" witness apparently is a convicted felon and everyone, including pro-western leaders Vuk Draskovic and Dusan Mihajlovic, certainly no lovers of wiley Milosevic, who deny this 'witness' was present at the meetings he claims he was present at, are all liers. Hard to believe a felon who claims everyone else is lying.

Bush should pull the plug on the whole operation--at the Hague, and in Kosovo. It's very hard for Bush to change course like that and admit that we fought on the wrong side and without any moral or legal justification. But how long can we let clinton get away with dragging the United States through the mud, making us all, in effect, complicit in a criminal conspiracy?

What a "case" these prosecutors/persecuters at the kangaroo "court" in the Hague have against Slobo. The great majority of their "witnesses" are KLA/UCK members or clan members, which makes them PROVEN muslim liars. Then there is Rugova who now calls the KLA "freedom fighters" (even thought they had been trying to kill him for several years), and Padded Splashdown who admits that the KLA are terrorists (thus contradicting Rugova, who has a big incentive to "cooperate" with the KLA to stay in power, and probably to save his skin).

Now we have this convicted felon and probable debtor (i.e., he's in need of NATO money). He requires us to believe that everyone else is lying in order to believe that he's telling the truth. And he even says that Milosevic had no intention to "negotiate" with the Shiptars at Ramboiullet (sp?). But we all know that that was no negotiation at all, but an ULTIMATUM for Milosevic to relinquish control of Kosovo and to allow NATO occupation of ALL OF Yugoslavia!!!! So once again, Tanic's "testimony" falls into the twilight zone!!!!

I heartily agree that Bush should pull the plug on the kangaroo "court", sooner rather than later. That would end his hypocrisy of suppoting the ICTY while rejecting the ICC. It's also time for him to do a total 180 and start supporting the Serbs and stop backing muslim thugs in the Balkans! He should just blame the whole thing on clinton, who also deserves the blame for 9/11 and whatever else the muslim terrorist international has planned for us in the way of attacks on US soil!!!

It is truely sad to see this waste of $100million a year of taxpayers money. GWB's White House was spot on in Feb. when it declared the Tribunal to be mismanaged and sloppy

This is truly hilarious, though.

As Raimondo described it some time ago: "For the sheer crudeness of the little morality tale now being played out in the Hague – like an amateur skit, with key actors forgetting their lines, and the props visibly collapsing before the eyes of the audience – is, indeed, serving as a warning to all the peoples of Europe and beyond: it could happen to you!"

Or to make a point, in any court in the western hemisphere, this 'testimony' would be thrown out and the witness dismissed. Not so for 'international justice'.
