PA Election- Proof of Fraud at Polls?

I think stealing someone's vote is as bad as stealing their silverware. A term in prison would help cure the problem.

As a PA resident, I'm surprised that non-voters are no longer dropped after the failure to vote in two consecutive elections. This is an invitation to voter fraud. Anyone who doesn't believe that the rancid Philly Dem machine is going to steal the upcoming governor race, has rocks in their head. Dem voters in every county except Philly and State College (that liberal college bastion) went for Casey. The map looked like the red/blue map of the 2000 Prez election. The big city steals the election again.

You all touch on a good point, and one that I have never understood. What is the point of trying to coax disinterested, uninformed people out to the polls? I’m not suggesting a poll tax, or literacy tests or anything, but this seems like just another poorly thought out effort to increase civic involvement in the government.

What should be encouraged is informed civic involvement. Knocking on doors, magically registering people to vote, and MTV’s “Rock the Vote” likely do more to undermine democracy than strengthen it.

Then again, when I look at the groups responsible for this activity, I shouldn’t wonder…

Several months ago a friend of mine (who is Canadian) went in to renew her driver's license. The clerk in the driver's license center asked her if she wanted to register to vote. My friend said, no, she couldn't because she's not a citizen. The clerk said "I didn't ask you if you COULD register - I asked you if you WANTED to register. My friend said no of course. I'm furious! How do you stop such shenanigans!! To my friend's credit, she alerted our Voter's Registration office. Don't know if they did anything about it or not.

Time to get some operatives on the inside and gather the videotaped evidence. If the fraud is widespread, it shouldn't be too difficult to become a "foot soldier".

I don't know about 130% of what is typical, but I do know that the national average is 50% of those of voting age who actually vote. I find it highly unlikely that the percentage in Philadelphia was much more than that, if not less. (Of course, the 50% does not take into account the dead Dems who voted, the Dems who voted twice and so forth.)

I strongly suspect that far more than 1.4% of the population of voting age in Philadelphia lacks driver's licenses. Remember, Philly has a subway system. I grew up in NYC, and didn't get a license till after I had moved away.
