Do you remember how we got suckered into invading Somolia ? It was video of starving kids every nite just as we sat down to dinner and finally the welfare pimps won out and bingo we invade as CNN films the whole thing from shore!

Trouble is some low lifes are selling Mugabe military equipment. They are making profits and you can bet the American taxpayer will eventually pay.

Let's think of it as thinning out the herd for sustainable population. Enviro, you know. :)

"We have plenty of our own fields, you know, and it should not be like this," said the 67-year-old peasant. "We used to be able to grow everything we want but that has all changed." That was before your 'fearless leader' Mugabe decided to throw out all the white folks that ran the farms.
Have fun starving.

In the long run, the same forces are at work in South Africa and it can be expected to follow Zim's example within the decade. In the long run, the same forces are at work here in the U.S. where European-Americans will be a minority by 2050. It can be expected that we will follow Zim's example at that point.

They plan on solving the problem by feeding the homeless...to the hungry. ;^)
Mugabe and Co. will be nibbling fois gras and sipping the champers all through this episode, however.
Later, they will enjoy a dessert of copper-coated lead.

Oh well, at least they're getting rid of the whiteys. And nary a word about it in the mainstream US media.

"Oh well, at least they're getting rid of the whiteys. And nary a word about it in the mainstream US media." Yup. They're headed back to a 'hunter/gatherer' society. There will be small groups of people scattered all over the region. Hunter/gathering will not support large populations...as they're about to discover.

"Like this was a big friggin' surprise." Exactly.
Perhaps the geniuses at our "liberal" universities that clamored for the end of colonialism or whites in power, will now come forward and explain why the African can not feed, educate, protect or rule themselves.
Perhaps the wise Bishop Tutu - will comment on the horrors brought upon the black man, by the black man... In the past, he informed the world that the grief of the black man was due to the presence and dominance of the white man in Africa.
I guess he and the geniuses lied, or were wrong..
In spite of their "best intentions", millions of black Africans will die by war, famine or disease.
Tough shit, huh?
The road to hell is paved by folks with "best intentions".

How much you want to bet it will involve Whitey salted the earth, destroyed equipment and didnt save any seed. And as for the educate/protect/rule part, Im guessing Unfair trade and aid policies.
The sad truth is, the outlook for a country whos chief industry is requesting aid really isnt that bright. Go figure.

That is precisely what I believe will happen- we will be shown "pictures on the TV that makes us feel bad," and that will be the rallying cry for "We Gotta Do Something!"

The right to grow plants is fundamental. Restrictions on the right to grow plants: 1965 Tens of millions dead of famine in China 1970s million die in Ethiopia 2002 Zimbabwe 1990-2002 Civil Wars in South America Even the USDA wants to restrict the types of garden seeds allowed for distribution, (to avoid weeds!) Every government shoud recognize the unrestricted right of all human beings to put seeds in the ground.

Is there a history of gun control in Zimbabwe?

I don't know, but I'm going to bet that Mugabe is sleeping soft and eating well no matter what is going on in the country side.

Perhaps the wise Bishop Tutu - will comment on the horrors brought upon the black man, Sorry, the esteemed Nobel Laureate is far too busy condemning Israelis for being alive to care about the looming catastrophe next door.

In 1928 Stalin began to force all peasants to join Collective Farms. Peasants had to pool their machinery and livestock on large farms, which were controlled by the State. 5,000,000 richer peasants, Kulaks, were murdered or starved to death. On the Collective farms, peasants were forced to hand over their produce to the government and were either paid wages or had to feed themselves on what was left over, the ensuing result was a devastating famine.
Kulaks burnt their crops and killed their animals, rather than hand them over. 5,000,000 people starved to death in the Soviet Union between 1932 to 1934 . Agricultural production fell by 15%.
"Those who fail to learn from history are doomed to repeat it."

Maybe when the black Africans have destroyed themselves through war, socialism and whatever diseases that are lumped together as "aids", the Afrikanners(sp) and others can return and turn Africa into a truly nice place to live.

others can return and turn Africa into a truly nice place to live.Southern Africa is a really nice place, geographically and climateologically speaking. Lump together South Africa, Rhodesia, Mozambique and Namibia and you have a space very similar in terrain and size to California, Nevada and Utah, complete with wonderful seacoasts and mountains. Thank the communists for sending it back to the dark ages, probably for the rest of our lifetimes.

This site has lots of good pictures and tourist level information about
Southern Africa. But it is VERY VERY politically correct, as befits the new government, so take it all with a grain of salt.
