Why does the FBI continue to lie to us, even after September 11?

Why don't you post some "unnamed sources" proving that they're lying?

*The first World Trade Center bombing was on February 26, 1993, one month into the Clinton Administration. The terrorists - Egyptians and Palestinians -- blew a hole six stories deep beneath the North Tower intending to topple it onto the South Tower and kill 250,000 people. It was - in the words of the definitive account - "the most ambitious terrorist attack ever attempted, anywhere, ever." Clinton did nothing. He did not even visit the site. Worse, he allowed the attack to be categorized as a criminal act by individuals, even though its mastermind - as the administration soon discovered -- was an Iraqi intelligence agent named Ramzi Youssef.

It's true that Hersch didn't mention the name Clinton once in his article, but I don't discount everything out of hand for that reason.

Thanks for posting the articles that "claim" to back up your assertion that Bush ordered the FBI to back off.

First of all, I don't place much credence in anything based on "highly placed unnamed sources".

Perhaps the most interesting part of each article is what is not claimed. None of them have anything, nothing, zip, zero, nada, to say BAD about Clinton. I guess we are supposed to believe that these "highly placed FBI or Government sources" all feel that the Bushes are culpable in 911 and mister rapist is pure as the driven snow.

Third. as to the Carlyle Group, they are one of the main contractors for the Crusader artillery piece. I guess both George's must be pretty mad at Rumsfeld for wanting to kill the goose that could lay the golden egg.

Anyway, thanks for the post, but I don't believe it for a minute.

Are you drunk? He mentioned it in the excerpt your posted! Hersch's article doesn't quote ANY unnmamed sources.

I don't often agree with Hersch's opinions, but he is a journalist who sources his quotes. The Brits, especially THE GUARDIAN, don't.

Yet your buddy, Briley, accuses Bush of stifling "an investigation" of Arabs with nothing but unnamed sources with an agenda to back up his hair-brained position.

Do you find it odd that Patrick couldn't dig up an American media source (like the Washington Post, which would love to bury Bush) as a resource?

I'll ask you again- where is your definative proof of this. Merely repeating an unsubstantiated rumour won't cut it unless you are on the demoratic underground or are on democrats.com.

As other have correctly pointed out, there is not one not one source in all these British accounts. In fact, the Brits don't even take this seriously.

With the thousands of leftist American publications doing their level best to slur, slander, libel and generally bury Bush, I, too, find it mighty curious the conspiracy bunch can't find one with a real source to post.

The Guardian also conveniently avoids any mention of any Clinton wrongdoing in all their "highly placed source" quotes. Never knew the FBI loved the master molester so much.

I thought that the Gore Commission was put together after TWA Flight 800 blew up over Long Island, and that the recommendations were shelved after massive campaign contributions from the airline industry went to the DNC. But you could be right about that. In any event, that's a totally devastating timeline/analysis.

It *always* bothered me that the Sinkmaster treated the first WTC attack like a generic crime and had it run through the criminal courts -- exposing intelligence methods (bin laden learned from the testimony that we were tracking his satellite phone and promptly stopped using that method) and allowing the blind sheik to live in prison and surreptitiously issue orders and just generally mock our constitutional rights.

His cowardice with regard to Somalia bothered me and some people thought I was too harsh and biased when I said that it (turning tail at the first sign of nastiness) would come back to haunt us in a major way. And so on through each military and intelligence f-up of his long eight years. I almost paid the price for that, with my life, on 9/11.

Thank God you didn't, but too many did, and will continue to do so. One day we may know the TRUE extent of damage to this wonderful country wreaked by the Clintons and their sycophants. However, I don't think we'll learn it all anytime soon and the worst may be yet to come.

The only peace I can muster in thinking of them, is that one day they will answer for the self-serving and the price will be steep.
