I'm hoping the US Gov. sees fit to outfit you guys with modernized P-51s.Nah, A-37's with rockets and miniguns. Appropriately "civilian", but quite nasty. A few passes from them would discourage any future Mexican Army incursions.

BZ to you from a member of Maryland's CAP Glenn L. Martin Wing. I joined up shortly after 9-11 and I have been working hard to find the cadet's a surplus aircraft to which they can call their own. CAP has been on the front lines before during and after 9-11. I am glad to be part of the group!!!

My dad learned to fly a Piper Cub in the CAP in the early 40s before he could actually enlist in the Marines. Great program.
Also, the Naval Sea Cadet Corp is a youth program that works with the Navy. I did this my first few years of high school, drilling with regular Navy reservists. I did 2 weeks of bootcamp, and 2 weeks with a riverboat unit, Special Boat Unit XI. It was a great opportunity.
