President Bush: "Everything possible is being done to protect American citizens."

Really?

Robert Muller: "More terrorists attacks against Americans are inevitable, there is nothing we can do".

Dick Cheney: "What he said".

So where do we line up for our copy of the Quaran and register with the terrorsits as a prisoners of war?

Of course none of them can dare speak the truth, that being, D.C. considers American citizens far more expendable than trade agreements. It's far easier to sacrifice citizens on the altar of "free trade" and replace the lost "worker units" with waiting third world masses.

Rather than offending anyone, we should just let them kill us.

If one should want to get a true understanding of our enemy, I recommend the book "Black Dog of Fate" by Peter Balakian. It will give a truly chilling insight into our enemy's character.

We are a nation of spoiled children and fussy eaters.

If Jerry Orbach isn't convinced things changed, he had the good sense to show it. And yeah it wasn't acting what he learned during the past season's Law & Order season finale episode. He was as put off by the failure to heed the lessons of 911 as the rest of us.

Obviously you are not up on the new enlightened interpretation of "we the people". If you are an American citizen, especially a natural born American citizen, you don't qualify as "we the people".

That definition is reserved only for the "we the people" that inhabit the rest of the Earth that globalist D.C. now represents.

The Administration and Congress are walking a precarious tightrope, trying to balance the National mood against the PC mood.

That is a dangerous activity, especially if they fail. If another major terrorist act occurs on U.S. soil, I think we will see a vigilante-ism that hasn't been seen since the 1800's. And I wouldn't be surprised to see many of the elected officials (even to the upper levels) literally tarred and feathered in public. We haven't seen that in many decades.

Either the politicians don't recognize, or they choose to feign ignorance, that there is still an undercurrent of rage Americans are containing within themselves. Every time we see the photos or videos of that horrific September 11th morning, the seething wrath swells up. We still contain it within ourselves and trust that the government is protecting us. The politicians have one chance to "get it right." They fail us again, and they will loose the American rage, the Americans' wrath--as much against them as against the enemy.

When I was a “yute”, I picked tobacco with a Puerto Rican guy.

Some big red-neck started giving him a hard time during lunch.

The red-neck out-weighed him by 50 lbs. but “Hector” just smiled at him until he walked away.

I said to “Hector”, hey dude, that guy wants to kick your a_s!

“Hector” just smiled and pulled out a switchblade and said, “Everyone is soft in the belly.”

He stuck the dude the next day.

America not only has a soft underbelly, but a sign between her ears that says "Space for Rent".

"We have a soft belly. In effect, we do not, according to bin Laden, have the will or determination to do what is necessary to protect the safety and security of this nation."

This is true because all U.S. citizens have allowed an unconstitutional regulation to be implemented that prevents us from protecting ourselves.

That unconstitutional regulation is the prohibition of U.S. citizens "...right to keep and bear arms..." on an aircraft.

Box cutter wielding Arabs would have stood no chance of commandeering a commercial aircraft with maybe a third to half of the passengers exercising their constitutional right.

And do not give me that crap about "well, what if there is an accidental discharge, that will cause a crash."

An aircraft can sustain multiple bullet holes without experiencing a massive decompression that would destroy the aircraft during flight. See the article posted in this forum, two days ago, about the pilots association wishing to have pilots armed in the cockpit. That group also discounted the potential devasting effect of multiple bullet holes in an aircraft.

We will not be secure until we are armed.

I agree, and for alot of us seeing all the Mohomicide bombers in Israel brings up the rage.
I think we will have to resort to protecting ourselfs eventually
.....it's not looking like our goverment is willing to step up to the plate and we are going to have to take back our Country or bend over and kiss it goodbye.

Another good book is "The Haj"

>and are allowed to verbally abuse and spit at the guards with instructions to the guards not to respond.

What the F? Who is running that camp? Walt Disney? Get some Russians in there who actually know how to run a prison camp.

Vigilante-ism might not be a bad thing. Especially as the pols we elect to reduce taxes and cut government forget all about those things the day after they arrive in Washington. I'm not advocating violence or God forbid anything revolutionary. But the thought of some of those thieving, traitorous, Washington b*****ds hanging by their necks until dead, dead, dead gives me a rather warm feeling.

Any official who repeats the litany- Nothing could have been done. Nothing is being done. Nothing will be done- should be fired.

Here's a treat, I read an article that said pre 9-11 quite a few pilots flew armed, but now are banned from carrying.

Ya'll tell me the truth, isn't watching all this nonsense exactly like watching some weird cartoon? Are we living in a new novel written by the author of "Dr. Strange Love", and nobody is letting us in on the joke?

We and our country are at far too much risk to allow cartoon politicans, both State and National, to continue in a cartoon reality that the saner populace is expected to live in.
