Strippers make an incredible amount of money for the most part. She seems to be in control of the situation for now, so let her run with it.She will have to live with the consequences of making that choice. She seems to want to make the choice and then make everyone accept it.
I have to give her credit for not going public with the names of the congregation members who visited the club. They apparently thought it was their duty to rat out on her.
I imagine she didn't because she made that part up.

I guess you missed the rest of the story. The pastor offered to help her with finances until she could find another job. She refused the offer.
And your post assumes she is being honest in the first place about the supposed financial crunch that led her to take a stripper's job. She says so many contradictory things to justify her decisions that it's hard to keep track of them all let alone make them work together.

This isn't even a close call. In fact, the reaction of supposedly Christian FReepers to this story will disclose immediately whether they have the Spirit or not. You're very right aout this one Kevin. But there are both Christians and non-Christians attempting to justify this self-glorifying prostitute as some sort of Christian ideal. The sad part to me is in this reaction moreso than in the story itself. How far must we have fallen as a society to see this sort of reaction so wide spread on the right side of our political spectrum?

Being a stripper is very comparable to being a prostitute. Both strippers and prostitutes sell their bodies for money. The only difference is that one lets people touch, the other only lets people look. Both make their money by appealing to lust, which is the vice that traditionally caused both stripping and prostitution to be condemned in Christian morality.
