We had a policy under Clinton of supporting the Bosnians, the Albanians with force of arms. We had a policy under Clinton of putting pressure on Russia to stop her war with the Chechen rebels. All these groups without a doubt had links to al-Qaeda as admitted too by the State Dept and the FBI.

So why were terrorists in the USA with links to Chechens, Bosnians and Albanians allowed such freedom of movement and were free from scrutiny to the point where even investigations were suppressed?

Bull. The CIA is not allowed to pass info up to the State Dept? Pentagon? The FBI? See my #21. Like I said either this is gross incompetence or treason.

Not who used to be in power.

That's what you guys are terrified of, isn't it. That the whole country will find out what we on this site already know.

The CIA didn't have a legislative mandate to release investigative information to the FBI or anyone else that related domestically. Why do you think there is all this hoopla going on with how John Ashcroft is supposedly taking away civil liberties?

Oh? What is it that you already know?

And why would I be terrified of it?

...why was he criticized when he failed to campaign for Bret Schundler in NJ or the candidate in South Carolina?

Maybe the supporters of Bret Schundler in NJ or the candidate in South Carolina wanted the president to campaign for them and they were upset when he didn't. Just a guess.

That 9-11 is entirely the result of the muckups, corruption, and treason of the previous administration. 100 percent of it. And you are terrified that you can't blame Bush.

The CIA was not restricted in anyway that would have stopped them passing info along. Thjat is exactly what tehy are supposed to do by law. The explanation you are providing is what is called spinning for the sheeple.

I believe that all of this points to a criminal conspiracy involving Clinton, the FBI, Al Qaeda, Hamas. TWA 800 was an attack by this group - "the Liberation Army" - as was Oklahoma City.

Our nuclear labs were pilfered. Our secrets were stolen. The Pentagon was bugged. Laptop computers with nuclear secrets "disappeared," and no one has gone to jail. And no one appears to be interested in getting to the bottom of any of it (even after 9/11).

We would do well to consider that Al Qaeda has nuclear weapons stolen from our own nuclear labs. That is our current "worse case scenario," I think, however terrifying it may be to consider.

Sure, nothing stopped from passing it along the issue is the FBI couldn't do anything with it unless there was probable cause...

Good we agree--so why did the CIA --NOT PASS IT ALONG?? Why did the FBI agent's findings that there were men with links to Chechen branch that did in the USS Cole also suppressed?

We have now seen 2 cases one from the FBI and one from the CIA where Chechen links were discovered and investigations scuttled or suppressed. Why?

It's probably more an issue of separating the noise from the information. I wonder how many tips per day all the US intelligence and investigative services get per day that appear as significant as this at that time. I know that the Marines in the week prior to the US Embassy bombing got 1900 messages regarding various bomb threats. Which one do you investigate?

Also consider the fact that when the first WTC attack occured, the FBI did not consider as part of their investigation the possibility that there was a terrorist conspiracy at work. The same is true concerning Oklahoma City, where the investigation was narrowed to focus on domestic terrorists, rather than the possibility that there were others involved.
