I so agree. But Bosworth does have a point with the "analysis paralysis", yet to whom do we give control back too? Back to private is my idea way, yet....there are those that are truely greedy and would cut them all down, and that is something I would fight hard against....I wish that when the trees were cut, that hardwoods would be replanted, not just all the different kinds of pines..now with that said, all the diseased and dead trees should be harvasted asap, except for some, that does return to the earth a need.

But I so admit to not knowing awhole heck of a lot on timbering, just going on emotion and so admit that! :-)

CD, I agree WHOLEHEARTEDLY!! It is NOT an easy issue. But, the government ownership of property for "ownership", and control of private property is BAD! Peace and love, George.

I should have made that clear, I don't like government ownership at all! Like you said, this is a hard one for sure!
