Ah, the socialists anthem. What a disgusting thing to do you a bunch of young kids that have just accomplished the first great thing of their young lives.
Something really has to be done about these Marxists running the schools these days. If we don't, we won't have a country in another generation.

Another nail in the coffin of true education.
These people are "teaching" future generations of Americans to "feel good", but, do not think. As long as the feds are in the "business" of local education, we will see dumbed down robots in the future who will have the right to vote.
Isn't that scary?

I heard part of this stupid song this morning. They were discussing it on our local radio station... and laughing at how ridiculous the concept of a "world anthem" is. It was awful... it sounded something like that Coca-Cola "I'd Like to Teach the World to Sing" song! *yech*

Gail Wagner, whose daughter graduated May 24, wrote a letter to the school principal, the district superintendent and the Denver Rocky Mountain News calling the anthem "an insipid little song about a world of peace and love" and an insult to America. I like this lady!

The third-world communist sh!tbags, not only fail to feed themselves or produce anything of value, they can't even compose a decent song.
Now here's a real song:
Oh, say can you see, by the dawn's early light,
What so proudly we hailed at the twilight's last gleaming?
Whose broad stripes and bright stars, through the perilous fight,
O'er the ramparts we watched, were so gallantly streaming?
And the rockets' red glare, the bombs bursting in air,
Gave proof through the night that our flag was still there.
O say, does that star-spangled banner yet wave
O'er the land of the free and the home of the brave?
On the shore, dimly seen through the mists of the deep,
Where the foe's haughty host in dread silence reposes,
What is that which the breeze, o'er the towering steep,
As it fitfully blows, now conceals, now discloses?
Now it catches the gleam of the morning's first beam,
In full glory reflected now shines on the stream:
'Tis the star-spangled banner! O long may it wave
O'er the land of the free and the home of the brave.
And where is that band who so vauntingly swore
That the havoc of war and the battle's confusion
A home and a country should leave us no more?
Their blood has wiped out their foul footstep's pollution.
No refuge could save the hireling and slave
From the terror of flight, or the gloom of the grave:
And the star-spangled banner in triumph doth wave
O'er the land of the free and the home of the brave.
Oh! thus be it ever, when freemen shall stand
Between their loved homes and the war's desolation!
Blest with victory and peace, may the heaven-rescued land
Praise the Power that hath made and preserved us a nation.
Then conquer we must, for our cause it is just,
And this be our motto: "In God is our trust."
And the star-spangled banner forever shall wave
O'er the land of the free and the home of the brave!

Aeons ago, at my high school graduation, we in the acapella choir sang "One World" (?correct title?), and to this day, it gives me chills to hear it.
BUT it never took the place of The National Anthem -- which gives me both chills and tears. Of course, there was no 'one world', 'globalism' threat then
"One world built on a firm foundation.
One world no longer cursed by war.
Let no mortal man
Change the Master's plan,
One great world at peace once more--
One world built forevermore.
--------and on ------
It was more of an inspirational hymn, than a PC gimmick.

"We believe there is a wonderful way to bring a message of hope, healing, peace and unification to all people through the universal language of music ... to give the world a gift, to bring about a symbol for peace and a common spirit of trust toward the idea of one people, one world." What a load of fetid dingo's kidneys

Two years to create such dribble. The 'mountain labors, etc.' They already had one in place -- as cloyingly insipid -- 'It's a Small World After All'.

"Music from the anthems of every country in the world were combined in a computer."
SAMPLING from HELL!

"Can't we all just get along?" When will these people realize that the answer is no?

Goodman said that even Air Force's Band of the Rockies is taken with the piece and
arranging its own version.
(apologies in advance if this ping is an inconvenience)
I'll let my sanitized version of a phrase from the politically-incorrect Andrew Dice Clay
cover my stance on this story, in particular the above comment about the Air Force band:
"IN-FREAKIN-CREDIBLE!"
If The Air Force Band is headed down this path, they might as well pull down Old Glory,
run the Rainbow Pride Flag up the flagpole and salute it!!!

I've got to give it a "1"
"It has a terrible beat and you can't dance to it."

It could have been worse. They might have sung this song that is circulating on the internet: The Stockpile Song By: Will E. Nelson Take the flag down from its place, where it led the human race. Run up U. N. white and blue. That's what your "leaders" plan to do. They don't seem to understand, we are a freedom loving band. So spread the word across the land: stockpile weapons while you can. The public schools were first to go. They're run by leftists as you know. So school your children safe at home, free from their propaganda zone. For they don't want to understand, we are a family loving band. We'll spread the word across the land: stockpile knowledge while you can. Somewhere there near your home town, professor's robe or judge's gown, there is a leftist who must go. So lock and load and let them know. The time will come they'll understand, we are a patriotic band. We've spread the word across the land: stockpile weapons while you can.
