As for the wallet story, I don't give it a lot of weight.

As I mentioned before, these wannabe volunteer seniors are usually role playing something they wanted to do all their lives and never could; be an authority type.

I'm sorry to sound so judgmental, but I've seen too many of them and the way they behave.

My guess is that he could have seen a wallet, a planner, an envelope, a zippered pouch, a checkbook, etc. Bills could be stacked in many places and it would be typical of a senior to call any one of them a "wallet". Mr Wannabe Ranger is only one person and he dripped with that "now-I'm-a-big-shot" attitude. Sorry......little credence in my eyes.

Even if it was what most would describe as a wallet, who is to say it was his only one? I have two. Granted, I am female, but I have a simple one and then one for credit cards, etc. I don't see it as one of the important bread crumbs we are following.

Yeah, he said he would have noticed if it were gone. Also said DW always had picked up his MH and a storage trailer that contained his sand toys at the same time and always had arrived with his son. Son would then drive off in SUV and DW would take MH and trailer. Feb.2 was the first time since he began storing the MH at Keith's that he arrived alone and left his SUV there and didn't take the trailer.

I agree...don't think the wallet is important...if he is like a lot of my dad's friends, cash is folded over in the pocket...credit cards and such are in a "wallet"...he needed the Chevron card in the "wallet" to fill up the MH..which he did when he found it.

Thanks. One of the things that has hit me as I vacation away from a computer and tv (for the most part)is the difference in the investigations of the Utah and the SD cases.

In Utah the house is being really looked at..as are family members..SD investigation is a joke

One reporter in Utah wanted to know how a large man could get in and out of a strange house with leaving evidence...interesting NO ONE asks that about DW

Feldman asked Savage if that area was photographed. I would have to go back and look at the transcripts to see if Feldman went on to ask Savage if the Hemastix test was used on this spot that might be blood. If not why not?

The stain on the beanbag chair tested positive for blood. Wonder if it was Danielle's blood or Layla's? Seemed they are the only two bleeding in and around that house,so far.

Latest version of DW's trip, more info from CTV.

Version 3:
Driving distances and times (Mapquest)

DW's trip:
2/2
WD leaves home at 7:45am to swap SUV for motorhome a few miles away.
Arrives back at his house and gets ready.
Had intended to go the Glamis, but lost wallet, decides to go to the beach instead.
9:50 leaves for Siler Strand.
Poway to Coronado (near Silver Strand) 27.2 miles 41 min
(Two cell phone calls at 10:08 failed and 10:46 46 secs thru South Port tower at 94/805, are consistant with the middle of this trip)
(Two cell phone calls at 11:10am 83 sec and 3:28pm 83sec voice mail thru Chula Vista Tower are consistant with his being at or near Silver Strand)

Coronado to Poway (near home) 27.2 miles 41 min
Found wallet in SUV.
DW says he returned to his house about 3:30pm
Poway to Ramona (Barbara's house) 13.3 miles 38 min
(5 phone calls from 5:31pm to 6:15pm show him enroute or near Ramona)

Ramona to Glamis (desert) 163.1 miles 4 hours 1min
DW says he arrived at Glamis after 10pm.
(roaming phone call 61sec from Imperial Valley at 10:26pm about the time he would have arrived at Glamis)
Got stuck

2/3
got pulled out.
Glamis to Superstition Mountain to Borrego to Coronado. He didn't take I-8, or go near El Cahon. 170 miles 4 hours plus.
DW says he leaves Borrego about 6pm to go backto SS. Gets there at 7:15 gates closed at 7pm. Camps outside.
Only cell phone call on 2/3 doesn't seem to fit. DW said he was back at Silver Strand at 7:15pm and camped outside the gate. Call was at 7:33pm thru Mira Mar Tower, much closer to Poway than SS. He must have arrived back a SS after 7:50 or so.

2/4
Dw says he left SS at 4am
Coronado to Poway 27.2 miles 41 min
Says he switched backto SUV at 6:30am and home at 7:30am
This trip takes too long! Stop for breakfast?

Roughly 450 miles, 12 hours of driving

I remember reading, don't ask me where, DW said he didn't remember seeing PDVD's van when he came home from the bar that night. This may be why DW was surprised to later learn PDvD was home with the kids. No Van, no PDvD?

That would fit instead of breakfast. But then why did he leave at 4am anyway. Run out by cops for parking outside park?

I think the prosecution plans to say he was not run off by cops so not sure...his times may be off..he was camping....is there any official record yet of his times besides the taped interview or investigators "notes"?

Thats one of the problems isn't it? None of the statements are consistent, depends somewhat on who reported the information we were given. I'll be glad when defense puts on their show, maybe some of these inconsistent statements will be cleared away.

I hate to see you put so much work into anything based on info from CTV (I'm assuming you mean Court TV) and/or Mapquest. Neither are reliable. We already know how unreliable CTV is and Mapquest will send you miles out of your way on any trip you map out with them. Try it using info from your home to your work place --for example -- and see if they don't send you out of your way, adding unnecessary mileage.

Amen to that!

I've been going over DVD's trial testimony again and now I have a new question. Why is the prosecution trying to establish that Damon has never been inside DWs house, garage or backyard?

I'm not even saying that she was sleepwalking. My contention is that she walked out of the house herself. Whether sleepwalking or awake. That's what I think.

You're welcome to perfect it in any way you wish; I'm just trying to start putting it together. Contributions welcome! So far I'm pretty pleased that it supports DW.
