Actually a lot of the religious right stayed home (forget the number) and 17% who declared they were conservative voted for Gore.
-------
The number is 4 million according to Rove. I don't know where he is getting it except that this time 14% of the voters claimed to be of the religious right which equates to approximately 15 million. Rove says there should be 19 million.. where he gets his number I don't know. Thus the 19 - 15 = 4 million.. that's about all I know of it.....
http://www.freerepublic.com/fo cus/news/702736/posts?UNITED NATIONS (Reuters) - To the dismay of its allies, the United States on Wednesday threatened to withdraw from U.N. peacekeeping missions if its troops were not exempted from the reach of a new global criminal court.

Thanks -- I thought I remember 4 million but I wasn't sure! This time I wrote it down!

Incrementalism works both ways...Excellent point.
But the encouraging part is that we have a Republican in the White House who is smart enough to realize it. And the all-or-nothing-RIGHT-NOW! idiots who keep showing up on various threads to "bash Bush" for "betraying conservatives" are looking sillier all the time.

...17% who declared they were conservative voted for Gore. That "17%" were liars, so naturally they voted for Gore.

I think he is talking about the folks that stayed home and didn't vote. I remember that was estimated to be about 4 million. You know -- the people that didn't go to the polls, but complain and say they won't vote for Pres Bush in 2004!

JH can you hit this with a ping and maybe help spread it around a bit.Sure -- ping coming up...

He should be working with South American and African countries... not just the Vatican and Muslim countries.

And since Bush is no different than Gore, I suppose the Bush-bashing bots will be on here saying this is no big deal, because, after all, Gore would have done the same thing, right?

When you see one of them Bush BashingBots, post this GIF to warn us :-)
