Tro........in the SFRY in the period 1946-1957 the standard of living nearly tripled. In Croatia in a similar 10 year period (1991-2001) the standard of living dropped 40%.......

Give me a break. The buck stops with those who started the war. You want to talk about Nagasaki. Puhhlease.... Explain to me why the Japanese didnt' capitulate after the first bomb? And why is it that after the 2nd was dropped, once plans of surrender by the emperor became known, his top generals attempted to revolt to prevent him from doing so.. Explain that to me and to the japanese. What's more. Japan is divided into 5 islands. Conservative estimates are that 50,000 american lives would be lost for the battle of each island. 50,000 * 5 = 250,000 american casualties. And I would say probably at least 500,000 more japanese casualties. The bombs saved lives. Why are the people who start wars are not being held responsible by you?
