I've been receiving a number of emails that tell me you get into this disputes with a lot of people. I should have guessed. I've also been told that Oldfriend is a "lackey" and Texasforever is "a mouthpiece for the RNC." I'd say these other Freepers have it about right.

I really didn't want to discuss Rush on this thread.

He has been helpful in the past and I honor him for it. However, he has tunnelvision regarding President Bush, and I have lost faith in someone who has spent time bashing the President rather than bashing Daschle. If you still like him, that is fine. I just decided to not listen to him any more.

There are a variety of other descriptions I could apply to that particular behavior, but "having fun" is not one of them.

Perhaps your view of freedom is like that of the animals in the wild. In that case, once a few wolves take few children, we all go out and hunt them down. The wolves were free, al though free they are still killed. We are obligated to kill them before they kill another child.

Among men, freedom is symbiotic with responsibility. Without responsibility there can be no freedom. The Palestinians have seen varying levels of freedom -- they are unable to hold it, unable to win it, unable to keeep from hurting themselves and others around them with the potency of that freedom unles it comes with responsibility.

Where is there ANY demonstration of Palestinian responisibilty? There are endless demonstrations of Palestinian excuses. When they stop excuses -- when they damn their own excuses and act like men, then freedom will be found for them. Then freedom among the living can be found for them.
