Anyone Hear My Shout Out to FR on Rush's Show? (vanity)

Did anyone hear my call to Rush Limbaugh earlier this afternoon? The first thing I said was "Mega Free Republic dittos from Wilmington, DE." I took issue with Rush's earlier comments that he thought Bush was calling for Israel's withdrawal to the 1967 borders. I read excerpts from Bush's speech, and then I said I think Bush knows that full withdrawal to these borders is suicide. I also thanked Rush for influencing me in my conservatism when I was younger.

Good point, though. I heard Bush specifically say that Israel's settlements could remain, but that they had to stop making NEW settlements. That's not '67 borders.

I missed your shout out because I was going back and forth between listening to the show and taking cell calls. However, I did hear that clip of Peter Jennings that Rush ran. What was that term Rush used in describing it? Was it "Network Mad" or something similar?

I recorded it the "old fashioned way" by using an audio cassette, but that still is a good idea. :-)

Yes, that was me. I said that I first listened to Rush on Election Day 1992, and I try to listen to him when I can still.

Yes.

Well, If you really enjoy Rush's show and miss it often due to work, etc., you can access the show archives. That's probably the biggest plus.

However, if you find yourself no worse for missing his show daily, then it might not be worth the money.

To be honest, you have to be a rabid Rush fan to really value the membership. I might not renew.

Spoke about how important the internet is, and that Hitlery wanted to censor the internet because people could say what they wanted.........then Ann mentioned that FR was the sixth most visited site on the net............

Got the book last week from booksamillion.com and couldn't put it down.

The most interesting part was the wonderful biography of Phyllis Schlafly.........what an amazing woman and much admired by Ann.

I heard you and thought you did OK. Rush actually apologized to you for some comment he made that you disagreed with. I like it when he admits he is wrong (by his data, that's only 2% of the time). Rush remains a conservative hero to me and I have listened since he was in Sacramento, California's armpit.

As soon as I heard you I saw a big "X" light up at the end of the bowling alley! Well done, sir! And you nailed Rush on the borders to boot.

When you mentioned FR, it seemed to me it made Rush a bit off balance. I was expecting him to take a cheap shot at us, but he had to agree with you on the borders and that seemed to change his focus.

Rush's constant badgering of FR - even if it's good natured - is getting tiresome, especially when it's common knowledge he monitors us.

It would be nice if everytime a FReeper gets through we make some quick mention like you did.
