But how did he get in and when.....did he come in at 2:49?...just get lucky that they had just gone to bed....climbed up that huge staircase without one stair creeking...was able to see her door in the dark...had to open the door without it making a sound...get her out of her bed and back downstairs...what if she had woken up and screamed?..then he takes her outside and what?..walks to his house or puts her in his SUV, without leaving a trace of her there?.....I get stuck here.

Dry is the opposite of humid. Mummification is more likely in a dry environment than a humid. Depending on the circumstances, cold weather could be much more conducive to mummification than warm temperatures ...

Yeah, cold and dry. Brings to mind that 500 year old Incan chick found mummified at the summit of an Andean volcano. Sufficiently well preserved to catch the fancy of a former president! His press secretary noted that she compared favorably to the mummy he married.

No, not yet..I would have done it eventually! I love that pic..!! I can't imagine living on one of those for so long. My uncle was on a navy ship in the 60's...he had worked in the boiler room or whatever it's called for a long time. He said it was extremely hot and they sometimes forgot to relieve them for lunch. Twas a tough job!!

That's certainly a stretch, IMO. Why is there so little porn after 1999? If he could do this, where is the rest of it? In the morning when they talked to him he had no idea what they would do next. Should I add ESP to his special powers, maybe ESPN?

I was kidding about the time. He probably did it before Brenda got home. ((I always have to clarify.. IF he did it....)) I think he thought the babysitter was there...maybe he never knew dad was in the house Dad had drank a few beers..he was probably asleep in his bedroom with the tv blaring. That's the only thing that makes sense to me.. I think dw was smart enough to wear gloves or something. I heard he was in mensa so...maybe even if he's drunk he can still figure things out.

Yeah, it's a stretch, but something I hadn't heard of.. (i've read some stretches..PLENTY of them, from blossoming boobs to incest so.......)

I've heard much speculation that DW thought Brenda had a baby-sitter for the kids that night. Even so, what makes a person think the sitter would be someone easy to get past? Also, if Brenda did get a sitter, why would a person automatically assume the sitter was at the VD house? Lots of times "sitters" are friends of the kids who invite them for overnights. According to what I've heard and read, the children had many friends to spend the night with when the VDs needed a sitter.

It's possible they chatted about the babysitter...maybe she gave him details about her or him. The police doesn't have to release all the details about their conversation during the cookie sale. That's what I was thinking..I don't know about the others who mentioned the babysitter.

I'm not clear on the babysitter idea either...was he going to kill her and cut down on his get away time..BVD woulda figured it out by 2am.

Wonder where the kids went to stay every Halloween?

Still on the baby sitter subject, Rich Brady testified that his wife couldn't go to Dad's that night because "Short notice....couldn't get a babysitter." But Keith Stone said their plans were made early in the week to go to Dad's. Maybe Rich forgot to mention it to Liz until the last minute?

Well, if he did it before she got home...it would give him over 2hrs...if he left the bar at 11pm....Damon was up at 1:45.....wonder if he had to go home and prepare first or was he ready to go?...the front porch light was on..Damon's van was there in the driveway....so he assumed maybe Damon went with someone else or something....sneaks around to the gate and goes in the garage door that Denise left open...opens the interior garage door and walks in across the tile floor...leaving no tracks or trace on the tile or the carpet...climbs the huge stairway without a stair creeking..finds the right bedroom door...scoops her out of her bed, without her waking....hearing the tv blaring in the bedroom gives him time to get out...this time he opens the slider....NOPE...slider doesn't get opened until the gang leaves....so he goes back out the garage door..leaving it open..back thru the gate and walks down the street carrying her..hmmm...have to try again...not making this work
