Ok.I get you. Ronald Reagan policy to defeat communists in Central America was just as bad as Col. Yair Klein's activities in Sierra Leone, Leonid Minin's in Liberia,Arkadi Gaydamak's in Angola, Semyon Yukovich Mogilevich's oil/money laundering deals with Saddam Hussein and the Beit Alfa Trailer Company's sale of military equipment to Mugabe.
But even if I agree with that, which I don't, your argument still loses on "fallacy of tu quoque" grounds. Even given that what Reagan did was illegal, immoral or whatever, that does not excuse what Israel and Israelis have done.
I read these threads quite a bit and have dissented with both sides from time to time. Larry's views can be summed up by the following:

One can disagree with them all one wants, but they do not constitute a promotion if Jihad in my opinion.
For instance, I disagree with his view that our support of Israel is the probable reason for the WTC attacks. I think if Israel weren't around they would still have attacked us.
I have my asbestos on if you feel the need to flame me for what you consider a dumb reply.
What caused me to look into what Israel does were the attempts to shut down all debate on these issues by slandering those who didn't adhere to one particular line. It makes perfect sense to wonder, as I did earlier, if the largest illegal arms merchants in the world were involved in a missile attack on an aircraft. Some would like their names not be discussed because they are Israeli citizens. I don't recall freepers ever giving anyone a pass like that.
But I don't CARE what the Israelis have done. And neither do most non-commuinists, for the simple reason that they are on the forefront in fighting the West's mortal enemy - namely islam.
A Judeo-Christian friendly, western style Israel is simply more worthy of existence than all fundy islamic nations combined. And that does buy a lot of forgiveness for whatever transgressions she may have committed.
