As usual, Dr. Prager hits the nail on the head.

I am pro Israel for other reasons, even though I do have christian viewpoints on this also. As a people, I admire their tenacity, their productiveness and their technological, science and cultural contributions to the world. And they are a useful and valued ally.

"pro-Israel lobby" and its alleged power over Congress. Prager starts with Congress, and then jumps to .
.
President Bush received few Jews' votes and few Jews' money
Dick Cheney always supported Israel
What about Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld
And what about Condoleezza Rice
Apples and Oranges

Does anyone keep a count of how many Jewish Reps and Senators there are?
We know exactly how many white, black, hispanic, asian, men, women, etc., etc. there are in our nation's legislative bodies. I hope it won't be an antisemitic question to ask how many Jews there are in Congress.
Right?
Can anyone help?
I support Isreal because THEY are not trying to blow me up!!!!

It's become fashionable to rhetorically attack Israel now because one will no longer be accused of Naziism when doing so. There's a lot of pent-up frustration over Jewish control of the media, and, from what I hear from ordinary people, their consumption of our taxes. I usually counter by pointing out that Israel is an imperfect democracy bordered by the mass, insane tyranny that is Islam.

>hey believe the Bible when it says, in Genesis, that the Creator will bless those who bless the Jews and curse those who curse the Jews. They are, incidentally, quite right:
Howz that again? Where in Genesis does it say the Creator will bless those who bless the Jews? There were no Jews in Genesis.

I might point out to everyone, Identity and otherwise, that waving the Bible is no argument. Let's all agree that we support Israel because they share most of our values, while the loving, peaceful world of Islam does not.

Of course this is not an Anti-Semetic question, just the thought of this makes me laugh. Unfortunately, I don't know how many, but I'd suppose beyond their relative demographic precentage in the US.

Why do you insist on splitting a non-existent hair? Whether they are called "Jews" or "Children of Israel," it's equally valid since this goes to the Abrahamic Covenant which extends to Abraham's seed of the Promise.
I've read several times your positing(s) on how Abraham wasn't a Jew. Duh! How could he have been one when his great-grandson Judah is where the term "Jews" comes from? Abram, who was renamed Abraham by the Father, was the first Hebrew, not the first "Jew."
Your "Lost Tribe" screed is laughable on its face, much less on the so-called "serious" aspects of it. I guess it is no surprise to you that there are many people of African descent who claim the exact same thing that your so-called "British Israelite" group claims.
You are all full of Barbra Streisand, and all of your agenda(s) is/are suspect to say the least.
Wow! And that didn't even take 3-minutes to read, did it? < /sarcasm>

You are totally correct. And I agree with you, of course. But we have those whose agendas cause intentional obfuscation.

The point here is that in spite of their diversity (apples and oranges), they all have a common denominator: they all are good friends of Israel.

I don't think losttribe is "Identity or otherwise". He's a historian. I also don't think the little country in the Lands of Sands is supported by very many because it is democracy. It's supported because of Biblical ties to Christianity.

Why are you threatened by the information losttribe presents? It's historical and Biblical. You should refute it instead of becoming emotional about it. If you can't, what's the point of becoming upset?

Maybe you could tell me how much american money was wasted on the Muslimes.
I consider money spent on a democracy, that helped us during the cold war, that took out the Frogs giving Iraq a nuclear reactor, that is fighting a war against the same Islamic scum that killed thousands of US citizens. Far more worthwhile than the money spent on Muslimes and your mother's foodstamps.
