Doesn't a high thread count make for good sheets?

Ha, knowing that detail is pretty good for a straight male, if I say so myself!

Darn good !!!! My husband wouldn't know a 280-thread count sheet from a piece of muslin.

Muslin is a religion of piece?

Are they a spinoff from the Masons?

Since I have been inside a Masonic Temple many, many, MANY times , I can tell you, that I was NEVER searched, nor " forbidden " , by anyone , to see anything. I am a woman now, but even as a little girl, there was absolutely NO proscription of any sort. Yes, my gradfather was a well respected high office holding Master Mason . Still and all, when last I visited there, he had been dead for 40 years.

Not only was I treated with respect and decorum, I went on a thorough tour, and even remembered some of the rooms ; even though they had recently done a magnificent restoration of them. I was given several illustrated ( with photographs ) magazine type books, which contains all the rooms that I saw and even some that I hadn't seen. I have NO idea where you were, nor what you " claim " to have seen ; however, since this Masonic Temple is on of this country's major ones, your story is bizarre. I saw absolutely NOTHING that you described ... noy ever... not in any room. Yes, I most assuredly DID see the ones that the rites are performed in. Your a teller of tall tales; at best, and a pathetic LIAR to boot.

Freemasonry is NOT a " religion " ! It doesn't " take the place of a church ", nor any other libelous garbage, that I've seen spewed out on FR.

BTW, Barbra Striesand is a euphemism for bovine excrement, in a more vulgar form. It's also something, which you are full of !

ROTFLOL ! Yeah, right, my grandfather " RAN THE WORLD" . Gee, you'd a thunk that I would have known that. LOL

You'd be out of your tiny mind; if you had one. :-)

Thanks for the info. It's rather strange. Masons don't think of their organization as a religion. The problem, that the Roman Catholic church and, evidently , the Lutherans have with Freemasonry, is based on their own biased opinion, rather than fact.

Freemasonry accepts anyone and everyone, as long as the believe in GOD and are of high moral character. That's the long and the short of it; really ! There are even Masonic groups, who hold their meetings in Protestant churches.
